On Saturday some unhinged lunatics actually paid money to be out in the below-freezing "life-threatening" weather in their underwear. The annual Cupid Undie Run—which raises money for the Children's Tumor Foundation—went down around 2 p.m. near Pier 84 in Manhattan.

Intrepid photographer Gretchen Robinette tells us the run was planned to be one mile, but it was shortened due to the extreme cold—"I think about 200 or so people ran, most of them in their underwear, some wore a little bit more." (Organizers tell us there were 600 participants.) After the quick jaunt the attendees headed to a toasty after-party in their knickers.
