Target announces celeb fave as new design partner
Fresh off the success of Sunday's Phillip Lim for Target launch (much of the collection sold out within hours online and shoppers lined up outside stores in NYC), the retailer is announcing a new designer collaboration that will launch this winter.
Monday morning, Target revealed that the latest up-and-coming design star that they will partner with is British visionary Peter Pilotto.
Stars like Kerry Washington, Rihanna, Miranda Kerr, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lawrence and been drawn to his bold patterned-pieces that often feature sexy cutouts and body-conscious silhouettes.
Pilotto's Target line will launch Feb. 9 in most Target stores nationwide and online and will feature about 70 pieces of women's apparel, accessories and swimwear at the bargain price of (mostly) $60 and under.
Target will also work with e-commerce site Net-A-Porter.com to offer international fashionistas a chance to get in on the Pilotto craze with a curated assortment of the limited-edition collection.
