Imagery is a universal language, and photography is a dialect within it. I think that’s what makes modern day photography such a global phenomenon. We’re all trying to learn this language, become fluent, and then push the boundaries and rewrite the rules. Parallel to the written word, the rules can be bent, and twisted, and broken. Components rearranged, like poetry.

The amazing part is is that we’re all learning it together here, and people are developing fluency faster than ever- almost as fast as this language is evolving. But that fluency will always be just short of complete, and the perfect photograph will always elude you. Because if you caught up, it’d be over, and the best part is- it’s never over. Keep speaking that language.
