4.5 Addictive, Delicious, Just Plain Sexy Stars

There is something to be said about presenting a tale that just gives you everything you want. It doesn't pretend to be a deep, meaningful search of the mysteries of the world.... it lays out in the blurb exactly what the basics are and runs with it.
This is a perfect execution of just that. We are given characters we met in the prologue, One Night With Her. They met in a bar; connected in an amazing flurry of sexual chemistry beyond anything either of them was prepared for... They actually worked on all levels together. He liked her sass, smarts, and willingness to be open. She loved the manly way he presented himself. He was strong, not just physically, but also mentally... pushing all the right buttons to make her lose herself to the attraction. They have an amazing night... sexual nirvana. Then real life happens... he has been harboring intense guilt from a previous relationship. His sister is concerned for him and has coerced him to see an intimacy expert. He arrives at the appointment and is stunned to see his beguiling, adventurous partner from last night. Both are shocked. She takes him immediately to another associate; insists he works with her and walks away.
Now you don't think that is the end, now do you...
He comes back to her office; whispers all types of naughty, delicious things in her ear...convinces her by demonstration to go to dinner that night. Both are taken with each other... there is no denying the pull and want... He suggests 30 days of showing her how much pleasure he can give her. Of course, him being the CEO of a sex toy company... cannot hurt since she is very familiar with his products first hand...
The dye is cast... 30 days... of bliss.
Now, this is the story on the surface. Yet there is so much more presented to us. Lauren Blakely covers the impact of guilt, unrequited love, and the damage it can do. She shows how we learn from our families and parents, whether we want to or not, patterns... good and bad. She has these characters deal with real-life in between the bubble of this 30 day bliss period by not running away or hysterical dramatics. What I appreciated was an actual plot; with real consequences and needs to be addressed. What I loved, even more, was during the entire book I never felt it overly angsty. When needed, people talked things out; even if they weren't sure how they would be received. In other words, they acted like grown-ups.
What Blakely does best, though, captures a feeling and desire so intense... you ride the wave of it with these characters. You are the one bantering, texting, and emailing with this sexy, dirty talking man... you are the flirt and pushing all of his buttons... you are there experiencing all his expertise.... and hot damn.... he is an expert and tease. All of it flows so naturally, it really works.
So, if you are looking to spend time in the throws of a romantic haze, appreciating a tale for what it is, and have done all of the necessary laundry in order to enjoy it fully... then this book is entirely for you.
This can be read as a stand-alone.

You can call me Sassy, the Audio Ninja...
I know that Lauren Blakely can write hot and steamy but this was HOT AND STEAMY!! And, of course, I've got another embarrassing Sassy audio moment. Anyone out there who knows how to avoid your Bluetooth cutting out...please, PLEASE let me know. Yep, you guessed it, my fellow passengers now know I'm a smut reader/listener. I was on the train happily listening to Sebastian York whisper sweet (and not so sweet) things in my ear, when the Bluetooth fritzed and what I was listening to BLASTED out of my phone. I could not awaken my phone fast enough to pause it AND IT HAD TO BE A NAUGHTY PART. I swear my heart just about jumped out of my chest and my face was as red as a tomato.
Seriously, maybe I should just give up on audio. Pfft...where's the fun in that? It's an adrenaline high, I tell you. I now stand poised waiting for audio havoc to happen. I've become Sassy, Audio Ninja. Even a stutter in the connection will have me diving into action juggling my phone like it's a hot potato trying to look like I'm just chillin and checkin my feed. I have never listened to an audio so seriously, or, I imagine, with a look of such intense concentration.
Mind you, Sebastian York does not help me in this one. His voice, in all its sexy deep goodness, made every word out of his mouth sound like sin. I swear he could be reciting the alphabet and people would still think I was listening to a sex tape. Bloody Sebastian York you're ruining my reputation as a mild-mannered passenger off to do good in my world.
OK, sorry, about the book. It was good. I just felt like the actions of the characters weren't really indicative of their age. I think they were both in their 30's and the amount of "shenanigans" they got up to in public, just seemed a little excessive. Maybe I'm wrong, but I hardly even see 30+ ladies and gentlemen snogging let alone getting hot and heavy. But, I suppose, it's a story, and maybe people dream of having their back scraped against a brick wall while they "do the deed".
The main characters Jack and Michelle, have "issues" from their past and fight the love bug as long as they can. Lots of self-reflection to get to the heart of the matter, but eventually, love conquers all.
Nights with Him is pretty much in the middle of the Seductive Nights series. I can't say that I have a deep desire to go back, but I am tempted to go forward. Cassie, Jack's sister, was a great character and I really wouldn't mind seeing her get to her happy ever after.

I was curious about Sebastian York's narration because I kept hearing how good it was. This book is on Audible Escape so I gave it a go.
I'm convinced. Sebastian York's narration is YUMMY.
This story, on the other hand, is not. I listened to the first two hours and it was nothing but porn. Two hours! sitting in my car listening to porn. Not even Mr. York can make me listen any longer. But he did manage to add a star to the book for me.

4.5 Hot Nights with Him!

I can say that Lauren Blakely is quickly becoming a fave of mine. I have had read a few of her books in the past and while I enjoyed them, I will say that this is my fave of hers to date! Sometimes you just need to dive into the heat and with that Lauren Blakely delivered a fabulously hot, erotic love story that was written well with amazing heat and great characters!
In a quick sum up, Jack Sullivan is the CEO of Joy Delivered. He rules the sex toy world yet he is single, sullen, and emotionally unattached after the death of his fiancee. A chance meeting puts him in a bar with a smart, sexy, profession driven, and anti-relationship Michelle Milo. Sparks ignite for both. A night of pleasure beyond both of their expectations has them back in the game...until the next day. Jack's appt with a psychologist for his "intimacy issues" puts him in the office of one Dr. Milo! Whoops! How will either be able to forget the night before?

Jack Sullivan è un uomo bellissimo dai capelli scuri, gli occhi azzurri e un corpo che non passa inosservato. È il magnate dei sex toys nella Grande Mela, ricercato anche dal pubblico femminile per il suo aspetto. Lui però difficilmente si lascia andare, a causa del modo tragico in cui è finita la sua relazione con l'ex fidanzata. Tutto ciò che vuole Jack è smettere di soffrire e di sentirsi in colpa. E il momento arriva con lei. Michelle Milo. Michelle è una donna dai capelli castani e gli occhi scuri, dall'aspetto sinuoso e sensuale. I due s'incontrano nel bar di un hotel e passano una folle notte di passione. Quell'unica notte fa capire ad entrambi che hanno bisogno di altre serate così, ma nessuno dei due ha previsto che Michelle è proprio la psicologa incaricata dalla sorella di Jack di assisterlo. Jack però non è disposto a perdere la prima persona che riesce a farlo stare bene dopo tanto tempo, così le propone un patto: passeranno trenta notti come quella notte nell'hotel, per poter guarire un po' dai passati difficili. Michelle accetta, ma nessuno immagina che dietro l'angolo c'è qualcuno pronto a minacciarli.
La trama di questo libro non mi aveva molto incuriosita, ma sono sempre felice di leggere libri di vari autori. Il libro è narrato in terza persona e racconta la storia da parte di entrambi i protagonisti, non ho trovato molto entusiasmante questo modo di raccontare, perché l'ho trovato un po' confusionario. In più ho trovato la storia un po' surreale e a tratti troppo incalzante, dove le scene di passione sono in eccesso. Non ho trovato nemmeno nulla di speciale nei due protagonisti.

Michelle didn’t expect to find Jack standing in her doorway as her next appointment. She knew Jack, well she knew his body... last night they had met in a bar and had an explosive one-night stand. Knowing she can’t see him as a patient, she refers him to a fellow colleague, but soon finds herself back beneath him and accepting his offer of spending the next thirty days exploring each other.
Jack hasn’t dealt with the guilt of the loss of his fiancé. Being the sex toy mogul has given him the label of one of the most eligible bachelors. Seeking the help of a shrink was his sister’s idea. But opening up to one isn’t exactly in the cards. But as he spends more time with Michelle, something sparks within him. Although she may not be his doctor, she is helping him move on and let go far more than she realizes. But when politics, sex toys and their private lives all mix to make things very public, choices are going to have to be made. Michelle spent ten years in love with a man that never saw her that way, giving her heart to Jack when he can’t return the feeling is something she knows she can’t do, but sometimes these things aren’t in your control. Sometimes your heart will open itself up to love, even when you don’t want it to and sometimes someone loving you can allow you to let go and move on in a way you never thought possible.
I am a fan of the Seductive Nights Series. I was not a fan of Michelle until we finally got to get inside of her head. Her plays for Clay in the first few books made me question whether or not I’d be able to let that go and enjoy her story – to give her a proper chance. Well, Jack helped with that greatly. Getting a chance to see Michelle explain her feelings towards Clay and her remorse for letting that control ten years of her life, allowed me to look past her behavior – I got to understand it a bit. And Jack. As much as I loved Clay, part of me at times felt like I couldn’t see anything beyond Jack. The sexy banter, the touch of damaged – it all just worked.
I was shocked at how much I loved this book. I was so torn about being able to give it a fair shake because of my feelings going into it, but it all worked out perfectly. Another fantastically written romance from Ms. Blakely. Sexy, steamy and erotic moments. I love seeing this sexier side to her writing and am excited for Clay’s brother’s book that is next up.

July 10, 2019Holy hotpants is this steamy! I didn't check the tags, or much of anything else, confident that I'd enjoy another Lauren Blakely story. But yeah, this is erotica. So I'm dnfing after not very long and without prejudice (rating). The steam is strong in this one. If that's what you're looking for, you can't go far wrong with this one. Personally, I wish I were closer to a cold shower...

I loved this story so much! Jack and Michelle are amazing together!
I was hooked from the beginning. Jack and Michelle are just these great, real characters and I could feel their vulnerability and connection. I love Michelle, she's such a strong character trying to move forward from past heartache. I love that she's cautious yet open and adventurous. I could see her barriers breaking down and I really enjoyed that throughout the story. Jack. Oh my Jack! Every detail that was learned made me feel for him and like him even more. I loved everything about Jack and Michelle being together. They were fun and playful and had this easy, flirty banter with one another. The openness they shared on a sexual level was pretty fantastic and when they started to open their hearts, it was romantic, sexy, and sweet all rolled into one.
There are LOTS of sexy times in this book… from my notes: "Holy hell doesn’t even cover the level of hotness in this. I seriously think it’s the hottest thing I’ve EVER read (and I read a lot!). I mean, there are these awesome sex scenes but the level of passion and eroticism intertwined with everything and their connection and vulnerability just takes it to a whole new level."
Loved the character connections and the new people that were introduced. Jack’s sister Casey is awesome and enjoyed her interactions with Jack’s friend Nate and can’t wait to see what Lauren Blakely does with that.
Great pacing, well thought out and well developed. And the end, I was all teary eyed and happy. Beautiful ending!

I was hooked from the beginning. Jack and Michelle are just these great, real characters and I could feel their vulnerability and connection. I love Michelle, she's such a strong character trying to move forward from past heartache. I love that she's cautious yet open and adventurous. I could see her barriers breaking down and I really enjoyed that throughout the story. Jack. Oh my Jack! Every detail that was learned made me feel for him and like him even more. This was such a steamy listen! I'm more familiar with Lauren Blakely's more recent romcom titles and was not expecting this to be so incredibly erotic and sexy. Jack and Michelle's incredible chemistry was palpable. I loved their playful banter and sexy innuendo throughout the book. I was blushing quite a bit while listening to this one as Jack and Michelle explored each other and their sexuality. I appreciated how strong and honest Michelle was about her feelings and desires. She didn't play games and was direct and giving. The story flowed well and I enjoyed the secondary characters, especially Jack's sister, Casey. The epilogue (and bonus epilogue!) left me with a huge smile on my face and was the perfect way to bring Jack and Michelle's story full circle.
Sebastian York was absolutely smoking hot in this one! I didn't mind at all that the book was in the third person and that he voiced all the characters. They don't call him the unicorn for nothing! He was Jack through and through and his "enthusiasm" during the intimate scenes had me fanning myself. There are very few narrators who can pull off both male and female characters so wonderfully and York was perfect. I'm excited to listen to Nate and Casey's story next!

I want more of this kind of story from Lauren!! I am a Lauren Blakely fan but I never knew she had it in her, this was h – e – ll - a HOT!
And it isn’t really because Jake is the CEO of an Adult Toy company. It’s just because the connection between these two characters was SMOKEN!
I think what I liked best about this book was that they were both so very adult about everything that went on between them, it wasn’t drama because of drama and they both acted like adults about everything it really was a great EROTIC ROMANCE! Yes, there was smoken’ hot sexy times but there also was a great storyline.

Jack, Jack, Jack! Oh My God! Jack Sullivan is so perfect and I’m so happy to be reunited with him and his beautiful Michelle again. Even better, with the voice of Sebastian York. I loved One Night With Her and Nights With Him the first time I read them. And now that I’ve listened to the audiobook version, I’m more and more in love with Jack and Michelle and their beautifully hot love story.
Jack and Michelle’s love story started as a one night stand—one super hot and super sexy night stand, I might add—and then it became a 30 day deal to enjoy their sexual chemistry. A chemistry that was out of this world. They took advantage of their hot desire for one another, by having the sexiest encounters all around NYC and Paris *sigh*. They also really enjoyed each other's company while getting to know one another. After a few weeks of earth shattering sex every night, their feelings got stronger and stronger, making every encounter more meaningful and intense in so many ways. Of course, a good story has to have some difficulties and there were a helluva lot of problems that these two beloved characters had to endure—making this story more and more interesting within every minute. The good thing is that LOVE ALWAYS WINS, and Michelle and Jack have a beautiful HEA.
The audiobook has a super special bonus that made me so happy. Sigh! I repeated the extended epilogue twice because I didn’t want it to end. It was so beautiful! I always love reading further into the HEA of my beloved characters, and this short bonus was such a perfect addition to Jack and Michelle’s love story.
What can I say about Sebastian’s performance? Well, he was as perfect as always. He was perfectly commanding, possessive and sexy when he was Jack. And seductive, romantic and even sexier as Michelle. He did great inflexions for them both, as well as the secondary characters. Overall,Sebastian did an outstanding job with the entire audiobook.

This time it’s Jack and Michelle's turn. I love love love this book! Their love story started in One Night with Her and now in this book their story gets better and better. It has the perfect amount of sex - oh yes very hot sex (Lauren can you please tell me where is your factory of book boyfriends? I need to go and get one for me, one like Jack please? Thank you), the perfect amount of drama and a really romantic trip to Paris. I particularly liked their reactions when they found out that he is her new patient and she is his new psychologist, it was really funny. And later, he came back to her office to make the most brilliant proposal of one pure-sex-and-no-strings-attached-month. Of course she accepts, who wouldn’t? I totally would! Especially with the handsomeness and expertise of this man.
“The man’s c*ck was divine. it should have a statue erected in its honor. A national holiday named for it. A parade to celebrate its length, width, and most of all, its feel”
The month of pure pleasure was more than they both expected because it didn't only helped them both to heal their hearts but also prepare them to love each other. It was beautiful to read how much Jack felt for Michelle but it was also frustrated to read how he couldn't express his feelings. Fortunately, their relationship started off with sincerity and honesty and even though Jack couldn't tell her at first everything about his past, he told her he would eventually.
“He also didn’t intend to start whatever this was with a lie. So he cast the truth in a new light as he answered her question. “You’re right. I haven’t moved on entirely, but not for the reason you think. And since you’re not my shrink, I’d rather not get into it. But I have another idea. Something that I think could meet both our needs. Want to hear my proposal?”
It was also great to read Michelle’s feelings toward Jack. When they met, she still had feelings for Clay *sigh, Oh Clay My Clay*, but she felt a strong connection with Jack the first night they spent together. Well, not the entire night, just a few hours, because she had issues about spending the night. I understand why, she was protecting herself, and it was the right thing to do.
My favorite thing about their relationship was that they brought the best of each other, at first it was in their sexual relationship, and later with their loving relationship.
“She was After Hours Michelle with him, so she let go of her other self, allowing herself to fully be the sexy, alluring woman who appeared when Jack Sullivan was inches away. “Touch me”, she said”
And of course, I LOVED THE ENDING!! It was perfect. So romantic, unexpected and totally made me cry. Lauren, please, can I have more Jack and Michelle? Pretty please!! You gave us a lot of Clay, would you consider giving us more of the sexy Jack Sullivan?
I have to add that I loved every part of the book with Davis Milo *sigh*. He is still my #1 book boyfriend of Lauren’s books.

This book was the perfect combo of an awesome H and an even awesome-er h. I loved how Michelle was such a go-getter and was not afraid to get what she wanted. She wanted Jack and was not afraid to act out on that want and be his sexual equal. (Go, girl!)

Nobody, and I mean nobody, does a dirty talking hero like Lauren Blakely. My husband sends her his continues thanks for consistently approving upon his nights with each new release.
First there was Davis Milo,who will always hold a special place in my heart because he was there first. Then came Clay Nichols, who quickly stole my heart as well as ruined many of my dedicates. Now she's brought us Jack Sullivan. Where do I even begin with Jack? Oh, how about the fact that he is the CEO of the most popular (fictional) sex toy companies in New York. This is a man who makes his living by approving the newest products meant to make a woman squirm, but he doesn't just approve the products, he knows how to use them in real life. Even better, he knows what to do without the toys to produce the same outcome. Whether he's using his mouth to do the work or just using it to describe the work he's about to put in, this man knows exactly how to get the job done.

He was also a naughty boy that loved pushing boundaries and exploring with Michelle. But underneath it all, he was broken, racked with guilt and had difficulty expressing love.
Michelle really surprised me with her sassiness, spunk, sexiness, and humor. But she also had her issues that held her back due to her history of unrequited love and her understanding of complex relationship problems due to the nature of her job.
Together they were playful, hot, compatible, and a perfect match. But they had obstacles to overcome, including themselves. They also had a deadline and some external drama affecting them and providing further challenges, mystery, and suspense. Their own fears cripple them at times and prevent them from giving the other what they need. And it will take self discovery and patience to determine what choices would lead to least amount of regrets.
This book can easily be read as a stand alone, but I enjoyed getting glimpses or mentions of old friends like her brother Davis, Jill, Sutton, Reeve, Clay, Julia and Nate. I always like to catch the little characters cross overs and see their fun interactions in Lauren's books. I loved his feisty, outspoken sister, Casey and caught tease of maybe an attraction toward Nate...hhhmm the possibilities.

It was told in Michelle and Jack's points of view with a chapter here and there by a couple of others. It was humorous, passionate, intriguing, and emotional while it dealt with the power of love to heal damaged hearts and provide redemption. I was not sure what to expect from Michelle's book because we really did not know that much about her since previously she was always the one in the background giving out advice. But I thoroughly enjoyed Michelle and Jack's engaging, sexy, swoony, and heartfelt story.

Oh My Jack!!! Seriously, where does Lauren come up with these men?! They never disappoint. They are so incredibly hot, loyal, protective, and awesome. And Jack Sullivan delivers and then some.
Though this is part of the Seductive Nights series, it focuses on Jack Sullivan and Michelle Milo. Now we have met Michelle through previous books of Lauren’s but this time the spotlight is on her. After dealing with unrequited love Michelle decided it is best to protect her heart. And after suffering through tragedy, Jack decided that it is best not to love anymore. We get the prequel One Night with Her included in this book as well. So we get to see their first sizzling interactions. But unbeknownst to them, they are in for a shock after their first night together. Michelle is the therapist that Jack’s sister sent him to so that he can get help for intimacy problems. So Michelle sends him to another therapist but she can’t stop thinking about him. Well Jack can’t stop thinking about Michelle. So he proposes a proposition to help both of their problems: 30 days of pleasure then they go their separate ways. But will it truly be that easy to walk away when deeper feelings start to develop?
Lauren takes you on a ride throughout this entire book. From Jack and Michelle’s first meeting to the end, you are hooked into every part of the story. I couldn’t wait to see where the story would go and how it would all play out. I really liked Michelle. She was a strong independent woman who knew what she wanted when it came to the bedroom. And Jack was more than happy to oblige. He was amazing in every which way. The sexual chemistry between the two was off the charts. I loved the times they spent together. They were some sweet and angsty moments that went along with the steamy parts but it all tied wonderfully into the book. I loved Jack’s personality as well. He was such a great guy. Their banter was fun and easy going and it showed just how perfect they were for one another. If you love Clay Nichols, then you will definitely fall in love with Jack Sullivan. He may have shockingly surpassed Clay in my eyes.
Overall, a great steamy read that it is well written with awesome characters! You will truly love this book.

Lauren is back and now we get Jack. Holy smoking and sizzling sheets, the man is a dirty talker extraordinaire. We thought Clay was amazing. Jack? Jack tops him. He is all talk, all action and all hotness.
Jack and Michelle meet, have a one night stand and then they meet again. And it’s a bit awkward because Jack is supposed to be Michelle’s patient. Which of course can’t happen since they had the amazingly hot sexy time. So, Jack is shuttled off to another therapist and Jack and Michelle begin a fling. Which turns into 30 days of hot, hot, hot sex. Like, off the charts hot sex.
Wait a second, I am remembering those scenes and need a drink. Hold please.

Here is where this book goes from good to amazing. Michelle. Yes, Jack is hot and sexy and he makes me swoon. But Michelle? Michelle is the woman we should all strive to be with our partners. She is open, honest, not afraid to say what she wants and completely comfortable in her skin. She is the woman we all want to be in the bedroom but so few of us are. She tells Jack exactly what she wants, how she wants it and has absolutely NO qualms about it. Jack can’t get enough of her brazenness. It’s a dynamic mix. They are both so sexual the chemistry is off the charts.
What’s the problem then? Well, Jack is full of guilt and Michelle is hung up on Clay. They both have major issues to work through. But they are a couple that needs to be together. They are perfect for each other. They just need to figure that out.
Of course there are challenges in their way. No relationship is perfect. However, the way they connect and face the challenges is refreshing. I wanted to just hug both of them for being so stinking awesome.
Obviously you need to read this book.

If sizzling hot with a healthy dose of romance is what you're looking for, then this is the book for you. Without the unnecessary drama from OW/OM and angst, this book manages to suck you right in with the story. One of the best things about this story was that the two had a pretty healthy relationship. I liked how they didn't make our H have a dark past and caught in his assumptions. He just managed to get over in a very healthy manner and our h wasn't a blabbering idiot looking for drama. She was one of the strongest girls I've read and was surrounded by very supportive characters. All in all the story was a fast read that keeps you glued on till the end.

I love a dirty talker, a strong, obviously fit, good looking man. Clay was that man, and now, we have Jack. But Jack, seriously he took dirty and rubbed his filthy beautiful naked body all over it.
Michelle matches Jack, she is strong, confident and knows what she wants sexually and isn't afraid to ask for what she wants. They had some of the hottest sex scenes I have read from Lauren... damn.

This was pretty good! I did enjoy this book...
Sex toy CEO falls for a psychologist...lots and lots of steamy sex, in which I assumed would happen, but there was a spin - that gave the story some mystery. A trip to Paris was wonderful...I love when I get to live vicariously and take trips with my characters!

Lauren Blakely has jumped up into my top favorite author group with Nights With Him . Adding the delicious Sebastian York narrating a book that's already hot as hell? OMG, explosive! (I mean that literally. Mr. Ana and I had a very busy few days thanks to Lauren). Though this is the fourth in the Seductive Nights series, It totally stood alone, and I never felt as if I wished I read the 3 preceding books. This was about a totally different couple.
Jack Sullivan...me likey! He is a dirty-talking, dominant CEO of an upscale sex toy company, Joy Delivered. After a horrible ending to his last relationship, Jack has major commitment issues. So much that his sister makes an appointment with a therapist for him who specializes in sex and love.
Jack is out having a drink to forget his pain and loneliness, when he sees Michelle Milo walk in the bar in sexy business attire. She's his perfect fantasy, and they have a night of passionate sex. Michelle has been in love with a guy for 10 years that does not share her feelings, and she is in no way ready to pine over another guy, so a one night stand is all she wants too. But wow, it was GOOD.
When Jack shows up the next morning at his therapy appointment, guess who it was with? Yup, Michelle Milo. She quickly introduced him to, and turned his case over to a colleague, so sorry, nothing taboo here. Jack knew he didn't have nearly enough of her yet. So now that they each know who the other is, Jack has a proposal.

Alcune scene mi sembravano davvero fuori luogo e spesso ho perso anche l’attenzione.
Ma fortunatamente, alla fine, la storia prende senso e inizia anche a piacermi.
Un peccato però che il tutto si svolge nelle ultime cento pagine.
Senza dubbio la parte più interessante del romanzo si svolge alla fine e sinceramente penso che l’autrice potesse risparmiarsi molte scene davvero pesanti.
Mi aspettavo molto di più, ma ormai ho quasi perso le speranze con questa serie che senz’altro ha del potenziale che non viene sfruttato a dovere.
L’unica nota positiva di questo romanzo è Jack Sullivan, il vero sovrano di queso libro molto molto sexy.
Se non amate le scene di sesso in un romanzo, questa non è la storia per voi perché, come le precedenti, è assolutamente bollente.
Diciamo pure che ha più scene erotiche che contenuto.
Lo consiglio dunque? Solo se amate il genere.

Ancora una volta sono qui a parlarvi della serie Seductive Nights, ma, finalmente, questa volta a farmi compagnia non sono più Clay e la sua metà, ma altri due nuovi protagonisti.
Con il titolo “Mio per una notte”, l’autrice Lauren Blakely racconta una nuova storia collegata alle precedenti.
Jack, il protagonista maschile, è un sex simbolo ed è anche il proprietario, insieme a sua sorella Casey, di una società produttrice di vibratori.
Michelle, la protagonista femminile, invece è una psicoterapeuta specializzata in sessuologia e in rapporti di coppia. L’abbiamo già conosciuta nei romanzi precedenti, quelli che raccontano di Clay, perché lei è la sua migliore amica ed è segretamente innamorata di lui.
L’incontro con Jack, però, scombina il suo cuore e mette in dubbio l’amore che fino ad ora era convinta di provare.
Jack Sullivan è l’uomo che tutte desiderano e nessuna donna, nemmeno Michelle, può essere immune al suo fascino.
Tutto in Jack richiama sesso selvaggio perché lui è sesso allo stato puro. Ma dietro il magnate dei giocattoli erotici c’è di più.
Jack è spezzato dai sensi di colpa. Ha perso la sua fidanzata a poche settimane dalle nozze e da quel giorno, avvenuto quasi un anno fa, non ha avuto più relazioni, né tantomeno rapporti occasionali.
Avete capito bene lettici, Jack, che richiama sesso in tutto e per tutto, è in astinenza da un anno, e sarà proprio la bella e tenace Michelle a interrompere il suo fioretto.
Quando in un locale gli occhi di Jack si posano su Michelle, tutto cambia.
I due stipulano un patto: 30 giorni di sesso. Un sesso estremo fatto solo per dimenticare. Michelle deve dimenticare il suo migliore amico e Jack deve aggiustare il suo cuore.
Inutile aggiungere che la chimica tra i due è esplosiva e le emozioni che regalano l’uno all’altro lo sono di più. Saranno dunque capaci di non innamorarsi?
Amiche del confine, questa serie mi stava un po’ stancando e, se devo dirla tutta, per quasi metà volume anche questa storia stava per finire nei libri assolutamente da non leggere.

What did I think? Well, you don't think while reading this book, you just feel. I wondered if I had to put a heart monitor on sometimes, because all I have to say is Jack definitely knows his way around a woman's body and pleasure.....phew...
Not only does Jack do wonders with his and her bodies, he also is compassionate. Once he opens is heart and soul up with help of releasing the guilt from the past, he becomes a woman's dream, at least mine he did.
Michelle was solid. I liked that she knew what she wanted, did not hesitate, did not stutter, did not play dumb, like so many of the ladies do in books. Yes, she guarded her heart for the time being, but that is completely understanding. She guarded it while she enjoyed what she wanted.
Just Jack and Michelle with two l's were a perfect match from the very start of meeting. The chemistry between the two was the perfect balance of sweet and naughty.
The ending though was a little too quick to end, as in the the storyline. I still believe this was an incandescent story.
