2014 STL ACS Younger Chemists Committee Young Researcher Award Application
To begin your application for the Young Researcher Award, please fill out the form below.  

All other application materials (listed below) should be sent to ycc@stlacs.org.

 Required Application Materials:
(a) a copy of the abstract to be submitted
(b) 2 letters of recommendation for the student (including one from the mentor of the student, which may be at another institution/company if the research was performed during an REU/internship)
(c) copy of Transcript with coursework/grades (does not need to be official)
(d) letter from the student describing their career goals, reasons for wanting to attend an ACS meeting, and which session of the meeting they intend to present at (no more than 2 pages)
(e) brief description from the Department of the financial support that they have committed to the student for travel (if any).  

Deadline:  Applications are due August 15, 2014.  Award winners will be contacted by August 31 and are expected to submit their abstracts online by the abstract submission deadline (September 15).
