He received an Associates degree from South Texas College in De La Garza 2010 and a Bachelors degree from e University of Texas – Pan American in 2012. Coach De La Garza was the ISS teach- er at Mission High School during the 2012-2013 school years. e 2013- 2014 school year was spent at Falls City I.S.D. where he coached the varsity defensive line and middle school football team, middle school basketball team, and high school baseball team. Last year was spent at Poteet I.S.D. where he was the middle school coach for football, basketball, and track. Coach De La Garza has been married for eighteen years to his wife, Suzie and has two children, Arturo and Loren.
