Description
The Spring Runoff in Vermont was running especially high the year I photographed the West Hill Covered Bridge, also known as the Crystal Springs Covered Bridge. But it doesn't cross the Crystal Spring or brook? It instead crosses the West Hill Brook from where it gets its name from. Where it gets Crystal Spring Covered Bridge from is anyone's guess. Maybe someone will read this and tell me??? In 2006 when I photographed from this angle, the spring snows had been tremendous and caused much flooding of the farmland in Central and Northern Vermont. I was balancing on a boulder and the water was rushing by in torrents and, if not careful, this shot could have been my last. It is a conceptual shot as most of the trees were green at this time, so I will term this a digital art piece.
