MUSE 2022: OUR FIRST-EVER HYBRID CONFERENCE

Muse 2022 will be a hybrid event, with sessions on craft and publishing happening virtually, and parties, networking events, and other gatherings happening in-person in Boston. Learn more here!

ADD-ON SCHOLARSHIPS (Applications for WRITER'S STUDIO SESSIONS Scholarships are STILL OPEN!)

There are a limited number of add-on scholarships available for the Manuscript Mart and Writer's Studio Sessions, a new mentorship opportunity we are offering this year. Please indicate on your scholarship application if you wish to be considered for these as well. You do not need to commit to meeting with a particular agent, editor, or author while applying. You will choose the agent, editor, or author when you register for the conference, but we advise you to register and make your selection(s) as quickly as possible. Our most popular meetings tend to sell out fast.

TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS

We offer partial need-based scholarships for a general audience, writers doing great work in the literary community, and writers from historically marginalized backgrounds. No previous publication or MFA required, and there is no application fee.

We welcome you to apply for multiple Tuition Scholarships. Select every scholarship for which you would like to be considered. We award Tuition Scholarships in quantities of $140, to cover 50% of the recipient's Muse 2022 registration; occasionally we offer larger amounts to individuals demonstrating particular need and writerly promise. All recipients will enjoy a 50% discount on in-person events for which they register. All Tuition Scholarships we offer are listed below.

Please note: The Manuscript Mart sample and query letter you submit for your scholarship application do not need to be the final versions you submit to your agent or editor on March 28. You are welcome to continue revising your materials until the day they are due.
