A Lancaster man is charged with aggravated assault for a stabbing Monday afternoon that injured four people, including a 16-year-old boy who was in serious but stable condition at a hospital, police said.

Ricardo Munoz, 25, was in a verbal altercation with several people who reportedly punched or kicked him. He then pulled a knife from a backpack and stabbed or slashed the victims outside of a home in the 500 block of North Queen Street, police said.

The victims retreated into the home and Munoz was still outside when officers arrived. Police said he held the knife to his own throat and refused to drop it until the officers used a Taser on him.

The four victims were taken to hospitals for treatment. The 16-year-old had injuries to his face, right thigh, left ankle and the right side of his body.

A 26-year-old man had a stab wound to his arm and was in fair condition at a hospital.

A 22-year-old woman had a slash injury to one of her hands and another 26-year-old man had a slash to his head. Both were treated at the hospital and released.
