What does this mean please? Does it mean that the goal of the strategy is to get ALSes from three (3) countries only out of 32 countries? or was the intent to get three ALSes per 32 countries where it does not exist? Explanation wanted.

Outreach and Engament is limited to 5 trips of engagement. Out of the these trips AFRALO will look forward to having new ALSes join in regions where ALSesare not existing with the need to encourage a wider reachout

Thanks Daniel for the attempts that means the focus is strictly on 32 uncovered countries for ALSes. We may need to draw guidelines for this and modalities too.

This link is linked to ALAC calendar event instead of outreach event's page where the list of outreach events are displayed. Or does it mean we do not have any ALSes events presently?

As much as this idea could be worthwhile, its desirability is another thing, given that most ALSes events students from the academia are expected to take part. Secondly, if we must identify universities or institutions, why limit that to two territories in Africa, out of 54 countries, except if it will be enshrined to be rotatory, so that if its zoned to South and West this time in 2016, it could be moved to North/East in 2017. I am sure if well defined, it would boost interest among African students on ICANN and expose them to chain of initiatives to take advantage from as AFRALO Student Ambassadors.

I would like to push this for discussion to all members on how we can engage more territories. I like the idea of AFRALO Student Ambassadors.

This Outreach Strategy for FY16 is very significant for ALSes. We can do this at the local, national and regional levels. Carry regular training, workshops, symposium. This outreach could also be integrated into our regular events and activities.
