Each finalist* selected will receive a complimentary arrival drink and three course meal at the presentation evening. Nominators are welcome to purchase tickets to attend.

All finalists will be acknowledged and receive a certificate and all winners are revealed on the night and will receive a trophy and certificate

* One ticket per finalist up to a maximum of 3 people. In the event of a group of people nominated (four or more) and making the finals, a maximum of two tickets will be provided with the opportunity of purchasing additional tickets if required

Fundraiser of the Year - For a person or team that has shown innovation and creativity for their fund raising activities, it's not necessarily all about the amount raised

Volunteer of the Year sponsored by BPHA www.bpha.org.uk - For an individual who gives freely and unselfishly of his or her time to help others

Unsung Hero/Heroine sponsored by KSK www.ksk.co.uk - Here we want to recognise the achievements of individuals or groups which go out of their way for others or their community as a whole. From spreading good news to voluntary support, this award is for people who are may not, perhaps, have received the recognition they deserve for their years of commitment

Senior Citizen - This award is for someone who is 60 and over and has either achieved great things in the community, is involved in volunteer work, overcame a major hardship or achieved distinction in some other field

Raising the Profile of the Town - This award is for someone who has actively promoted the town via press releases to local media as well as national/internationalmedia and promoting the positivity of the district outside the area
