GN

Public Health: Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is still at a Level 1 status in

response to COVID19; however, the lifeline is changing from yellow to green (stabilization). The

lifeline has not fully returned to its “preincident normal”, as the state continues to meet the needs

of the public and CDPHE is still performing critical services such as monitoring, testing, resourcing

and responding functions in response to COVID19. In addition, operational transition from the

Unified Coordination Command (UCC) to their Department of Operations Center still in transition.

++ As of today there are 27,360 cases, 4,460 hospitalized, 60 counties, 200,912 people tested,

1,512 deaths among cases, 1,255 due to COVID19 https://covid19.colorado.gov/casedata

Medical Care: Alternate Care Sites (ACS) will be operational based on the following locations and

dates:

* Denver Convention Center (Denver County) Projected Operational Date: June 4

* The Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds and Events Complex (Loveland Larimer County)

Projected Operational Date: June 11

* St. Anthony's North (Westminster Adams County) Projected Operational Date: June 25

* St. MaryCorwin Medical Center (Pueblo) Projected Operational Date: June 18

* Western Slope Memory Care (Grand Junction Mesa County) Projected Operational Date: July 2

Patient Movement: UCC dispatch center is in "Cold status" operational to support COVID19

patient movement.

Fatality Management: The COVID19 Fatality Management Plan has been approved and signed.

Medical Supply Chain: Continuing to monitor and work within supply chain (Nationally), alternative

means are available.

** Battelle Critical Care Decontamination Systems (CCDS) are selfcontained, mobile

decontamination units that use vapor phase hydrogen peroxide to decontaminate N95 filtering face

piece respirators from biological contaminants, including SARSCoV2. The system can

decontaminate up to 80,000 used N95 respirators per system per day, with a single respirator able

to be reused up to 20 times without degradation.

All healthcare personnel are eligible for the free N95 decontamination, including emergency

medical service personnel, nurses, nursing assistants, physicians, technicians, therapists,

phlebotomists, pharmacists, dentists and dental hygienists, students and trainees, contractual staff

not employed by the healthcare facility, and persons not directly involved in patient care, but who

could be exposed to infectious agents that can be transmitted in the healthcare setting (e.g.,

clerical, dietary, environmental services, laundry, security, engineering and facilities management,

administrative, billing, and volunteer personnel). Additionally, nonmedical personnel participating in

an emergency response due to COVID19 also qualify as a healthcare professional under the

Battelle Emergency Use Authorization.

The Battelle Systems are currently operating in Adams County and in Montrose

How to sign up:

++ To get N95 respirators cleaned, health care providers must first fill out an enrollment form at

battelle.org/decon.

++ Battelle will return an email with links to the enrollment contract, instructions and the Battelle

point of contact.

++ The enrollee will be given a threedigit code, which must be written on the respirators with

permanent marker.

++ The respirators need to be unsoiled, free of blood, mucus, makeup, lip balm, etc. Place all

masks into a single plastic bag and tie off the bag when it is full. Any soiled masks will be thrown

out. The bag must be placed into a second plastic bag that should be wiped down with disinfectant.

++ The respirators must be placed into a shipping box and labeled with the threedigit code and a

biohazard sticker

++ The enrollee contacts a shipper to coordinate pickup and delivery

++ Endtoend shipping logistics through FedEx is available at no cost to CCDS enrolled

healthcare providers, including VA hospitals and clinics, first responders, law enforcement, skilled

nursing facilities, and other essential healthcare personnel.

Community Safety: The state has released the following:

Gov. Jared Polis on Monday signed an executive order which

transitions the state from the saferathome order to what he is

calling 'Safer at Home and in the Vast, Great Outdoors.'The

order, which is in place until July 1, eases some restrictions put

into place to slow the spread of COVID19, and it also

encourages Coloradans to get outside – as long as they can

maintain proper social distancing

+ People should be prepared for state and local public health

orders to be extended, amended, or changed as needed to

protect public health. This means we may move between the

different levels during this pandemic.
