The State Emergency Operations Center is at Level 2 due to multiple agencies that are now involved in the Glenwood Canyon mudslide/debrief effort.

Transportation lifeline is now YELLOW due to mudslides on I­70 in Glenwood Springs Canyon. I­70 Eastbound / Westbound Glenwood Canyon

(Milemarker 87­133) I­70 in Glenwood Canyon is closed at Exit 87 (West Rifle), Exit (109) (Canyon Creek), Exit 116 (Glenwood Springs) and Exit 133

(Dotsero), due to flash flooding at the Grizzly Creek burn scar. Local eastbound traffic on I­70 will be allowed east of Exit 109, but motorists should

expect delays. I­70 is a major commerce route (East to West) which is impacting state and community economics, as well as national commerce. ​
