this book is a collection of Twenty-One Brand New Stories of First Love. i loved these short stories very much , my favorite was Stole by Alessandra torre ( by the way it's weird name combination for Summer and cole ) but still cute and lovely :)

HOLLYWOOD DIRT is one of two books that made it to the very TOP of my favourite read list of 2015. Cole and Summer won my heart as they navigated their way towards love with their flirtatious banter, sexiness and comedic timing drawing me to the warmth of their love story. In FOR THE FIRST TIME we're given their extended HAPPY-EVER-AFTER, so naturally SOLE was the first story my reading eyes ran to in this passionately packed Anthology.
SOLE has everything that I love in the original story of Hollywood Dirt in a perfect, edible, bite-size portion. It's absolutely beautiful and adorable, emoting the warm feel good factor of the original standalone. Fans of Cole and Summer will not want to miss this sexy story short and for readers who are new to this couple they'll be able to experience firsthand their charismatic relationship packed with personality, love, romance, sass and humour.
So far I've read another two of the beautiful shorts...
Kim Karr's BEGGING FOR MORE is delightfully sexy.
HEARTBREAK by Skye Warren is touchingly thought provoking.
I will enjoy reading each and every story because sexy shorts, for me, are perfect reading material for those times when one needs something to fill a little time between full length novels or when we simply crave a quick bite of sexy loveliness.

I am just saying.. Alexa Riley? I am IN! Loved this smutty story about Ethan and Tiffany, a man and a woman separated in the past and now reuniting and having their first time together!

Sole by Alessandra Torre (5 Stars)
My only 5 rated story. This is an extended epilogue of AT's Hollywood Dirt and I really loved knowing more about Summer and Cole, I really enjoyed that novel and the characters' hot chemistry!!
Begging for More by Kim Karr (4 Stars)
Short story about two characters that appear in Karr's standalone Toxic. Really enjoyed getting to know a little bit more about their hot first meeting!
Naughty Wishes by Sarah Castille (4 Stars)
A married couple trying to spice things up having a menage. Menage is really not my thing but I really enjoyed this one because Dan is really worried and even jealous sometimes!
His First and Only by Alexa Riley (4.5 Stars)

Decadent Knights by Julia Sykes (4 Stars)
Story focused on a BDSM club. It is about a woman who is saved from a kidnapping by her now Master. Really emotional and sexy story! Not a full menage scene but there is definitely another Dom involved in one of the chapters.
A Lake George Christmas by Debra Presley (3.5 Stars)
A sweet and sexy holiday themed story about a famous woman and her protector, now also her boyfriend.
Advent by Nina Lane (4.5 Stars)
A short story about the couple in the Spiral of Bliss series, the lovely Dean and Olivia West! Still not married in this story but still super cute and sexy moments between these two. Really love Dean and how he fights for Liv's love.
Test Driving the Billionaire by Cynthia Sax (3.5 Stars)
A story between a no-strings-attached boss and his personal assistant who happens to be a virgin and also is in love with him. This is what happens when they have sex and she discovers his real feelings for her!
Delay of Game by Jen Frederick (4 Stars)
A friends to lovers short story focusing on Wyatt and his best friend Lisle when he decides to claim her and what is already his. I read this could be or is part of Jen's Gridiron series, but I am not sure! I really need to check it out because I really enjoyed this story!
Her First Choice by Linda Chance (3.5 Stars)
Woman who wants a revenge fuck after discovering her boyfriend has been cheating on her with several women. Then she finds super hot biker that she was really attracted to since forever and they have a great time! Not a lot of chemistry for me but still hot.
Heart of Eve by Pam Godwin (4 Stars)
A story between two survivors of a post apocalyptic war that is followed by a plague and they are 'forced' to hide together. Evie is the only woman who survived and Roarke is a priest who struggles because he is tempted to break his vows. Really enjoyed this even though the genre is not my thing!
Steal My Breath by Nina Levine (4 Stars)
The last story that I read. It is about two people who are attracted to each other but there is a mistery about one of them that might ruin everything. I enjoyed Luke and Callie and I cannot wait to read more about them (Nina already announced there will be the full novel about these two!).
So, this is it. I rated the whole thing with 4 STARS because it kind of is the average rating between all the stories that I read. Overall, I really enjoyed this anthology so if you want some good stories about first times and first love, give this one a chance :)

For the First Time is a collection of Twenty-One Brand New Stories of First Love. I was truly ecstatic to dig into this bundle of goodness! Alessandra Torre, Sarah Castille, C.J. Roberts, Nina Lane, and Pam Godwin are truly some of my favorite authors. To have the opportunity to read more of their work and meet some new authors to follow was a truly remarkable experience! All of these stories can be read as a stand alone so jump on in. You will not be disappointed! These are just a reflections of my favorites from this collection.
Sole~Alessandra Torre
In Sole, we are given a glimpse into the future lives of America's favorite couple Summer and Cole from Hollywood Dirt. Three years have passed since these two got together and it's time for them to celebrate the birthday of their three year old. This story was light and full of fun. Summer and Cole are adorable and Ms. Torre amps up the passion between the two making this short read a powerhouse. Fans of Hollywood Dirt won't want to miss it!
Naughty Wishes~Sarah Castille
By far this was my favorite of the collection. What happens when your sex life in your marriage is dying a slow and painful death and you want to revive it? Easy, give your wife a coupon for a ménage for her birthday. This read was smoking hot! As the married women in America stand up and cheer, I bow to you Ms. Castille for taking on such a taboo subject and adding elements of tenderness and love! This is a captivating story with complex characters! It really packed a punch! Bravo!
Advent~Nina Lane
Dean and Liv. Liv and Dean. Enough said! I am such a huge fan of Ms. Lane's Spiral of Bliss Series. I have a very tender space in my heart reserved for this couple so bearing witness to their first Christmas together was nothing short of spectacular. In true Professor Dean fashion, you will experience maximum steam, complete tenderness, and irrefutable love between these two. This was just a delicious prelude to the release of Nina's Adore which is coming out February 9th. My kindle will be ready for more Dean and Liv!
Trailer Park Eden~CJ Roberts
Dark and twisted! This read explores the norms and bends norms to an extreme. I enjoyed every second of it. A brother who is deaf living with his blind twin sister. They are forced to endure abuse and cling to each other in order to survive. The emotions evoked from this read were raw and beautiful. I expected nothing less than perfection from Ms. Roberts and indeed, she delivered.
Heart of Eve~Pam Godwin
Pam Godwin is the queen of dark and I have enjoyed every single word she has ever written. As I am a huge Paranormal Fan, how have I NOT read Dead of Eve or Blood of Eve yet? (Hang on while I run to Amazon NOW!) This short story gave us a glimpse of Roark (a priest) and Evie trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. As Roark battles his sexual desires to be with Evie, we experience every single solitary moment of tension building between the two. In true Godwin fashion, the writing is rich with details and the passion is smoldering (dense and ready to combust). What a truly unique plot and this short snippet has sparked my desire for more!!!!
Overall, For the First Time was an amazing read. The collection has a variety of work that is sure to please every reader. The ingredients of light, dark, sexy, sad, happy, sorrow, passion, and love make this purchase a no brainer. Now that I have had a taste, I want more! And so will you!

For the First Time gives you twenty one brand new stories from some kick ass authors: Alessandra Torre, Kim Karr, Jen Frederick, Alexa Riley, Lynda Chance, Sarah Castille, Nina Lane, CJ Roberts, Anna Zaires, Nikki Sloane, Cynthia Sax, Avery Aster, Pam Godwin, Skye Warren, Julia Sykes, Cynthia Rayne, Jenika Snow, Debra Presley, Shoshanna Evers, Tamsen Parker, and Nina Levine!
Now while I may be writing this review rather prematurely, I had to get my thoughts out there on the two that I read and was absolutely captured by; Trailer Park Eden CJ Roberts and Heart of Eve Pam Godwin. These ladies are two of my favorite go to authors because they have a way about them that just consumes you.
Trailer Park Eden CJ Roberts
All I can say is that CJ Roberts has a way to make you fall in love with the unexpected. The story was forbiddingly tragic and beautiful, and it makes me need to know what happens next.
Heart of Eve Pam Godwin
This was just pure temptation, a drawn out seduction and battle of the wills. So deliciously HOT! I need to find my way back to Eve and her men ASAP.
I'm saving the rest of this anthology for those moments when you need that inescapable feeling of falling in love.... so happy there is nineteen more for me to choose from, which will be your favorite ???

For The First Time is a short story/novella anthology of firsts – first love, first heartbreak, etc. Contributed by 21 hottest bestselling authors, it has a good variety of genre ranging from light and funny, to dark and gritty. It’s a perfect book for diehard fans of the authors to enjoy the extras and for new fans to dabble in never read before authors’ works.
When it comes to anthology, personally I would like to see more complely new stories. Of the six stories I’ve read half of them are prologue/epilogue/extra of previously published books. I know a lot of the authors fans like to read the extras, but for me I rather read something new because I like variety and I’d like to see how authors tackle the challenge of writing new a complete stories with limited words.
Another reason is I feel it will make people who hasn’t read the full book feel left out or preventing them from understanding the heart of the story. Of the 3 extras from below, I haven’t read one of the full book. I liked the story, but I didn’t fully grasp the background. I understand the marketing standpoint of doing this, but I definitely prefer to read something new.

The Gist: A long lost love between childhood neighbors reunited after 10 years set in the sin city. Hot and heartwarming.
✤ Looking for Complications by Tamsen Parker ✤
The Gist: A chance encounter between a straight woman with identity crisis and a lesbian woman with inner self-esteem issue. Hot and kinky.

For The First Time is a short story/novella anthology of firsts – first love, first heartbreak, etc. Contributed by 21 hottest bestselling authors, it has a good variety of genre ranging from light and funny, to dark and gritty. It’s a perfect book for diehard fans of the authors to enjoy the extras and for new fans to dabble in never read before authors’ works.
When it comes to anthology, personally I would like to see more complely new stories. Of the six stories I’ve read half of them are prologue/epilogue/extra of previously published books. I know a lot of the authors fans like to read the extras, but for me I rather read something new because I like variety and I’d like to see how authors tackle the challenge of writing new a complete stories with limited words.
Another reason is I feel it will make people who hasn’t read the full book feel left out or preventing them from understanding the heart of the story. Of the 3 extras from below, I haven’t read one of the full book. I liked the story, but I didn’t fully grasp the background. I understand the marketing standpoint of doing this, but I definitely prefer to read something new.
Below are the brief summary of the stories I read. It may be added on later date.

So far I read only a few stories from this collection of short stories, and it was my first such a publication, but it really is great. It allowed me to quickly meet new authors. In addition, good to have such a collection at a time when you do not have time to read full-length book. I will write my impressions about the stories that I've read so far, but it's very possible that I'll be back to add something further.
I found here two stories that show menage. Two quite different threesome. The first is from Sarah Castille "Naughty Wishes". In this story, it is handled as an attempt to save the relationship, awakening chemistry between partners who are together for a long time. They are married, have children and the everyday life deprived them passion for each other. It not so surprisingly attracted a lot of emotions and it's hot as hell. I definitely must pay more attention to the author.
The second threesome you can find in "It Takes Two" by Nikki Sloane. It's a completely new story that presents this topic more for fun.... if you know what I mean. The shooting of erotic video, which shows how one of the girls could get to the Blindfold Club, full series of this author. I must admit that this short story even in a small part is not as good as this series. Even more steamy with more history and emotion.
We have here also sensational in short dirty stories Alexa Riley "His First and Only". It connects the sweet and innocent characters with the hot as hell scenes. How does she do it? I do not know but she gave us another short story with sexy caveman and sweet heroine. A little crazy, but really cute. Like it a lot.
I also read "Delay of Game" by Jen Frederick. I do not know how it happened that I have not read this author yet, but now she is certainly on my radar. Is a friend to lovers story. And it was funny, nice and truly wonderful. Lots of fun and hot scene. What could be better.
But, what for the moment won my full attention is "Trailer Park Eden" by CJ Roberts. It is something else. I am stunned. This story's screaming taboo and I'm dying and want more. A truly unique. I do not know how this story might end well, but I was bought after the very first paragraph. And since the author wonders whether to write about this a full-length book, I scream aloud, yes please!
So far that's it. I believe that in this anthology I find more great stories and as I wrote at the beginning, surely will come back for more.

For the First Time is a fantastic anthology featuring 21 different authors. I absolutely loved this anthology, for a few reasons. First it’s a great way to try new authors. It’s also fantastic for catching up with some of my favorite characters. Most importantly, it’s freaking hot as hell!
The first thing I did when I started this one was catch up with Summer and Cole in Sole by Alessandra Torre. I was so excited to see that we would get more from one of my favorite couples. It has been three years and the scene takes place at their daughter, Grace’s birthday party. The scene even includes Cocky!
I loved reading Heart of Eve by Pam Godwin. I am a huge fan of Evie and the Trilogy of Eve series. This scene took me back to the very beginning and I loved seeing Father Rourke with Eve. I loved reading about his temptation and how things unfolded between them. Even if you have never read this trilogy you can enjoy the heart, struggle and steam!
I loved Jen Frederick’s Delay of the Game, it was sweet, sexy and made me smile the whole time. I love a friends to lovers story and this little snippet was perfect!
Lastly, I decided to try to some new to me authors and discovered a few stories I am dying to read. I loved how Alexa Riley’s story was fun, sexy and plenty of smutty.
This anthology is a great chance to try out some new authors and I definitely plan to read more of the stories!

This is an amazing Anthology with some of my TOP favourite authors.
I have to be completely honest... I DO NOT LIKE SHORT STORIES!!! ... So imagine my surprise to find they are not really teasers/short stories at all!! I have only just started reading this anthology and will give a brief review on the two I have read... and LOVED by the way.
Skye Warren: "Heartbreak"
This is the beginning story of Blue and Hannah and it will have you tearing up and fanning yourself. Blue will make you sigh and Hannah will bring tears to your eyes. This story is how Blue and Hannah first meet and the story continues in a full story called "Better When it Hurts" which is Book #2 in Skye Warren's "Stripped Series". You will LOVE "Better When it Hurts" and I highly recommend it!!!
Sarah Castille: "Naughty Wishes:
Sarah Castille is a new author to me and I will definitely be looking for more of her books. This is a great story of a Menage a Trois, that is hot, sexy, sensual and a heart warming story of a husband and wife that have lost the sizzle in their love life after being married for a few years. Husband want to give his wife a Birthday gift that she has been longing for, and what better way to do that and spice up their love life than by arranging a Menage. This was a great story and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

4.5 Stars for the anthology
"Sole" by Alessandra Torre
It was nice to revisit with Summer and Cole and see how their family has grown three years after Hollywood Dirt ended. While Summer’s life-style changed considerably, it was comforting to know she remains a humble woman with southern values. I like how the title of this extended epilogue includes a Hollywood trend of naming couples: Summer + Cole = Sole. This short will warm your heart and make you swoon for Cole all over again.
"Naughty Wishes" by Sarah Castille
Kylie and Dan have been married for over a decade, and while they remain in love, their sex life and passion has fizzled. For Kylie’s birthday, Dan’s present is a ménage! Oh yes, that gift is going to be fun unwrapping! Lol! The third person in this sexy scenario is Aiden who is hot and ready for fun! Did I mention he travels with a duffel bag full of goodies? [channeling Mr. Mayfair! ;p ] Once the action begins, the dynamic between Kylie, Dan and Aiden shifts and it becomes clear that Kylie and Dan have found what has been missing.
Sarah Castille is a new author for me and I thoroughly enjoyed her writing. She was able to balance the eroticism of a ménage with the reality of a husband and wife welcoming a third person into their bedroom. This was a well-written and thought provoking story about a first that reconnects a couple.
"Her First Time" by Alexa Riley
Leave it to Alexa Riley to make first time sex incredibly hot! This story is about Tiffany and Ethan who were childhood sweethearts but unwillingly separated due to their family situations. They always dreamed of each other and Ethan never stopped searching for his “Bunny.” It wasn’t until Ethan has a meeting with a business partner when he discovers Tiffany working at a casino. Immediately, he claims her as his. With both of them waiting for each other, their first time together proved to be an intense connection forging their commitment to a future with each other.
For a short story, I felt the history these characters shared and was truly invested in their happy ending.
"Looking for a Complication" by Tamsen Parker
Kinsey attended an all-girl university and was always curious about her sexuality but primarily dated men. In a chance encounter, Kinsey meets Astrid, a lesbian confident about her sexuality. They immediately feel a connection but Astrid is cautious about acting on her feelings because she doesn’t want to be someone’s experimental lesbian experience. The heat soars between them and Kinsey accepts what she’s known all along.
This was my first f-f only story and I enjoyed reading the dynamics between Kinsey and Astrid.
"Sympathy for the Devil" by Cynthia Rayne
Dolly is a mother on the run from an abusive husband involved in the Dixie mafia. At 2 am, there’s a knock at her apartment door and it’s her husband’s colleague, Beaumont. Dolly is ready to protect herself and son but she soon discovers that if Beaumont was there to kill her, she’d already be dead.
What ensues is a mutual respect and a way out for Dolly and her son. For the first time, she has options and a man capable of brutality is her sympathizer.
"Heart of Eve" by Pam Godwin
In a post-apocalyptic world, Roark and Evie are the sole human survivors. Roark is a Catholic priest who is trying to stay chaste and respect his vows. However, he is lonely and begins to question his role on earth and what role Evie plays in the greater scheme.
The emotion of being the last two humans on earth is weighty and the sexual tension between Roark and Evie is palpable. As always, Pam Godwin is a master storyteller.
"Owned" by Jenika Snow
Rose has decided to auction her virginity in an effort to pay off the medical bills for her sick brother. Unbeknownst to Rose, her boss, Jaxson, is the winning bidder. All along, his intention was to help her financially but he was also selfishly motived because he wanted to own her in every way.
"Trailer Park Eden" by CJ Roberts
Kylee and Parker are 17 yr. old disabled twins living in squalor, but even with their less than ideal living conditions, they are bonded in every way. Parker does what he can to earn money for groceries, rent and utilities but Kylee isn’t pleased with those methods. Once Kylee decides to act, she sets everything in motion and they are no longer able to look back.
“I looked. I touched. I tasted. And now, sin has entered our world.”
Considering the length of this story, it certainly makes an impact. From the beginning, I was hooked and I truly felt the dynamic between Kylee and Parker. The way they compliment and rely upon each other is heartwarming, but also how they communicate was interesting to read. At moments, I felt the advantages and disadvantages of being blind or deaf. The way the other aspect of their relationship developed was somewhat unexpected and I liked how that shift occurred.
I saved reading this one for last. I hadn’t read any of CJ’s books yet, so I figured this was a good opportunity to experience her style. Let me just say that I am impressed and intrigued with this story and I’d love to read more.

I have read four of the stories so far and they are FANTASTIC. This anthology contains stories by my favorite writers, so what could be bad about a book filled with their short stories?? And all for only 99 cents!
His First and Only by Alexa Riley ~ A sweet and hot read about a wealthy hotelier who has spent years looking for his first love, after they were separated as teenagers. She is now an exotic dancer in Las Vegas and he will stop at nothing to reclaim what he has lost. Not as steamy as other Alexa Riley stories but as always, this has a HEA and an sexy Alpha male.
Advent by Nina Lane ~ “Let me in, beauty,” Dean whispered hotly against my ear, his finger still gently teasing. “I’ll make it so good for you.” OMG!! DEAN WEST!! I adored this story of Liv and Dean!! Nina Lane is an unparalleled erotic romance writer and this story reminded me why I love her so much. The Spiral of Bliss series is a must-read! Professor Dean West and his student Olivia have just embarked on their passionate affair. She is young and unworldly, and he is a sophisticated university professor. The ending of this story was absolutely perfect.
It Takes Two by Nikki Sloane ~ "Nina Hale, the girl who couldn’t get anything better than an entry-level temp job, was about to go down in flames, and Nina the porn star would rise in her place." Hot menage, anyone? Somehow Nikki Sloane makes the story of a threesome on a porn set seem actually very real and kind of sweet. The three main characters are believable and their scenes together almost burn up the page. You will need a cold shower after reading this one!
Trailer Park Eden by C.J. Roberts ~ An incredibly affecting story about two disabled siblings growing up in deplorable conditions. Taboo love done right. And if these two don't get their own full-length book, then we must start a petition on Change.org immediately! Just kidding. Sort of. Incredibly sweet, sexy and very emotional story from the Mistress of Dark Romance herself. I really want to see more about these two unforgettable characters.

This anthology is crammed full of morsels to devour, but I admit that I'm partial to a select few. We all have our idols to worship, right? ;o)
For me, that's primarily Skye Warren. She writes with so much soul, you can taste it even after a few sentences. I already knew the story as I'd read Better When It Hurts, as dark and painful as a romance comes. Yet reading first-hand how Blue and Hannah's drama started was too much of a lure to me to deny myself.
And here I am. Again, I'm soaking in the sad, disturbing density of a couple that is fated and doomed to love each other to hurtful extents. A foster home, a menace, a bad boy who's killed before. The girl who latches on to his strength for protection is only concerned with survival. Until her heart betrays both of them.
That's a powerful message: love as salvation and perdition. This prequel is strong in emotion, in loss and tension, and you know it's going to end badly. Still the need to know why and how it all happens will satisfy those who've read the full-length story that comes after this novella. Those whose first glimpse of Blue and Hannah's tragic love is this novella will surely crave their next dose of adrenaline. Heartbreak indeed.
On to my next lovely idol, Alexa Riley, and her novella His First and Only. Her alpha males are legendary in that they become blind with caveman passion when in the presence of the woman they claim. Tiffany and Ethan met as teenagers and pledged to be together forever. Ten years later, they reunite in the most serendipitous way possible in Vegas. And it's sweet and dirty and utterly delightful!
There's room for obsession, two lovers who have saved themselves for their one and only, dreams of family and cozy love, and a few encounters dripping with naughty, unreserved passion. If you know this author, you know the hotness. If you don't, just have a taste and you'll smile through the tingling shock.
UNIQUE had again a very unique writing style, quirky and filled with messy characters in the middle of blood diamond heists and hot action with twins.
I had a great time reading OWNED by Jenika Snow. She manages to convey a keenly arousing scenario in which Rose auctions her first time to a wealthy bidder that ends up being her dominant boss. Wow, that was hot stuff!
Also, a fairy tale from Shoshanna Evers tells the first encounter between Rapunzel and her rescuing knight. I liked her thoughts and reactions to all the novelties in her isolated life: a man, his intentions, why the witch imprisoned her there. Really cute and sexy.
On the practical side, I'd like to know what page each story begins so it would be easier to locate.

What can I say about this one??? We are taken back in time, back before Better When It Hurts, when Hannah first met Blue. Dark and gritty, the story of Hannah's love with Blue unfolds as we are taken back in time. Their first meeting brings a new light on how their story began.
Warren's writing style will entice you and if you haven't already, you will crave to start her Stripped series. Do not miss this. Skye Warren once more managed to captivate me as a reader. Fantastic prequel!!!

This author is the one who lured me into the dark side. Her Captive in the Dark series captivated me. This book is no exception. I loved how dark and twisted and forbidden it is.
Kylee and Parker are disabled. They are also siblings.Their story will take you on a wild ride to the dark side of love and I think you will not be satisfied with this one taste.
The story will haunt you with how realistic and raw it is. When innocense is lost, can forbidden love keep this unconventional couple together?
CJ Roberts has done it again. Trailer Park Eden is a perfect blend of passion, darkness and madness.
I crave more of this story. Pretty please, can we have a full novel with this couple???

OK, first of all, this story was waaaaay too short for me to fully like it. It's super sweet and super short. The story is about lost love and how two lost souls find each other again after ten years. You can find the story in For the first time: twenty-one brand new stories of love.
As I said, I wished it was longer but you can't always get what you wis for, right? Both main characters were eachs one and only and I'm glad they got their happy ending. :)
I read the osther as well but this one was the best.

This was so good. A very short one but still really good! It's about Ethan, 28 and Tiffany, 24.
Ethan and Tiffany fell in love with each other when they were kids. They even planned their future together. But the cops took him away from her. He went back for her only to find her gone.
Tiffany a.k.a. Foxy Bow was a showgirl at Snake Eyes Casino owned by Charles (book 2 H). That's where Ethan found her. He searched for her for years. He built a life for them while searching and waiting. And when he finally found her, it was beautiful to read.

If you're looking for a quick steamy fix, For the First Time is the perfect pick-up-put-down read; with some great stories, it has authors both familiar and new-to-me and I've already been on a bit of a one-click spree.
This would be a tome if I tried to review each story, so I'm not. I read each one and there were those I loved and those that weren't my cup of tea. But the beauty of this collection is that there's something in here for everyone, and I've picked a couple that stood out for me.
Looking for a Complication ~ Tamsen Parker
F/F romance isn't something I actively seek out to read. I've read it in anthologies and, being completely honest, they've never really worked out for me. But I've always been reticent to say whether it's me, or the story. However, having read this, I think it's may very well have been the stories, because Tamsen Parker brought a lovely sexy short read, with great characters who prove that sometimes, you have to take a chance when something unexpected comes your way.
Steal My Breath ~ Nina Levine
This was one hell of a teaser into Luke and Callie's story. Callie doesn't have much luck when it come it to dating, but when bar owner Luke finally makes his move, he brings a doozy of a secret with him. I've been left dying to know what their journey will hold in store and look forward to reading Steal my Breath in its entirety.

Based on the stories this sits amongst, and there will be readers new to this author, I can't help but feel that this should have come with a trigger warning. Personally, I love a taboo read, I have a dark and twisty side and this hit the spot, but if you don't, then you may want to give consideration to this before you read. However, I really do hope CJ Roberts continues Parker and Kylee's story. I didn't see where this was heading and it's left me wanting more of their journey.

Jen Frederick doesn't bring anything particularly unique to her best-friends to lovers story, but she does bring a couple who were passionate in every way possible and I adored Lisle and Wyatt together. Sacked has just leapt it's way up my TBR list.
So from knights rescuing princesses to tormented priests, ménages involving porn stars and married couples to billionaires, virgins, best-friends, strangers and gods that appear like Poseidon from the ocean, For the First Time covers much of the passionate spectrum. Well worth checking out.

However, having read this, I think it's may very well have been the stories, because Tamsen Parker brought a lovely sexy short read, with great characters who prove that sometimes, you have to take a chance when something unexpected comes your way.
Steal My Breath ~ Nina Levine
This was one hell of a teaser into Luke and Callie's story. Callie doesn't have much luck when it come it to dating, but when bar owner Luke finally makes his move, he brings a doozy of a secret with him. I've been left dying to know what their journey will hold in store and look forward to reading Steal my Breath in its entirety.
Trailer Park Eden ~ CJ Roberts
Based on the stories this sits amongst, and there will be readers new to this author, I can't help but feel that this should have come with a trigger warning. Personally, I love a taboo read, I have a dark and twisty side and this hit the spot, but if you don't, then you may want to give consideration to this before you read. However, I really do hope CJ Roberts continues Parker and Kylee's story. I didn't see where this was heading and it's left me wanting more of their journey.
Delay of Game ~ Jen Frederick
Jen Frederick doesn't bring anything particularly unique to her best-friends to lovers story, but she does bring a couple who were passionate in every way possible and I adored Lisle and Wyatt together. Sacked has just leapt it's way up my TBR list.
So from knights rescuing princesses to tormented priests, ménages involving porn stars and married couples to billionaires, virgins, best-friends, strangers and gods that appear like Poseidon from the ocean, For the First Time covers much of the passionate spectrum. Well worth checking out.

After three-years, the story continues with the "IT" couple of Hollywood, Cole Masten & Summer Jenkins, as they prepare for the celebration of their daughter's birthday. With complete entourage from the pages of Hollywood Dirt and yes, Cocky is still alive and kicking.
Though this is a short story, Alessandra Torre never fails to give us a HOT scene between Cole & Summer. Which I love, by the way! *smile* Thank you for letting us peek into the lives of Cole & Summer once more.

I really enjoy reading this Pam Godwin's story. It is an apocalyptic story wherein Evie is the only woman survivor and the only surviving man, who is her protector Roarke, who happens to be a priest. Will Roarke give into temptation and renounce his vow of celibacy? Pam Godwin knows how to get you hooked in her story, and I cannot wait to read the Trilogy of Eve soon.
This is an awesome collection of stories by renowned authors of our times and can't wait to read more.

This is a perfect book of short stories to have on your kindle to dip into between reads I think. I read the Alexa Riley story - not her smuttiest I'm sad to say but still gloriously hot - the Alessandra Torre extended epilogue to Hollywood Dirt, the Kim Karr (I'd forgotten how much I love her writing) and a few others and I've enjoyed the variety, the romance, the crazy insta love and lust and the angst.
Each story in this is a short story, but the ones I've read so far still packs a punch and will be a good palate cleanser to return to again and again for that familiar moment when you don't know what you're in the mood to read next. I was also pleased to see some new-to-me authors on here too that I'm looking forward to reading. Absolute bargain for 99p.

What an amazing group of authors and for just 99c!
I read both Dead of Eve and Blood of Eve (5 Star story) in 2015. These books crossed over several genres and really took me by surprise. So I was happy to hear Pam Godwin was writing a short in this anthology, I've been missing these characters. I jumped straight into Heart of Eve by Mrs. Godwin. Heart of Eve revolves around Roark and Eve's relationship and ultimately their first time together. Just like the full length novels mentioned there was plenty of suspense and well heart. Roark will stop at nothing to protect Eve. "I wouldn't have walked out of the house without her, even if it meant dying at her side. I didn't know what God thought of that, but I held Him responsible for sending her to me. If I didn't belong with her, I didn't belong anywhere." Reading Roark's POV just made me like him even more, can't wait to see where the story goes in the final book.

Well, I am three stories in and I'm not stopping, but to get a review up, I'll tell you about the three I already read.
First up:
TRAILER PARK EDEN by CJ Roberts
Parker & Kylee
So, this is a pretty fucked up little tale. Those of you who can't handle taboo subjects or the dirty side of life.... refrain... do not go any further! You have been warned! I honestly thought after reading CJ's Dark Duet serial I would be immune to her antics... nope! She totally blindsided me with this one and jaysus fekking christ did she ever shock me. You will never be the same after reading this and you'll never look at trail parks the same way again.
Well, I usually break up the characters and talk about them one at a time, but since this story is different, so will be my review. Parker and Kylee are 17 year old disabled twins. Parker is deaf and Kylee is blind. They live in a trailer with their drunk, outta work dad who spends his disability check, and theirs on god knows what. Not the bills! He's barely ever around so they pretty much fend for themselves. Parker relies on Kylee's hearing and he read her lips. Kylee relies on Parker to be her eyes. He dresses her, bathes her, and leads her around the neighborhood and school. To pay the bills and keep the electric and water on Parker does some unspeakable things. Of course Kylee doesn't agree with his decisions and eventually takes matters into her own hands.
Not much I can say without giving away the major parts of this conundrum, but know this, I am a smutty trailer trash whore for loving this little ditty so much! I look forward to finding more out about Parker and Kylee and where they end up and how they survive the life they've chosen for themselves. This 11k word story has enough emotion, turmoil, and mayhem to have you locked up and committed for the next 10 years. Who thinks of this shit? CJ Roberts, that's who! Loved it with my entire dark and jaded heart!

This is from Pam's Dead of Eve Trilogy. It's from the first book, Dead of Eve. It's from Rourk's POV when he meets Evie and they're staying together in his underground bunker. I am in love all over again!
Rourk is an Irish Priest stuck with the last healthy woman on earth after the plague. He's celibate at the moment, but for how long? He's constantly tempted and having dirty thoughts about Evie and what his body would like to do to hers. God is tempting him. God is testing him. God needs to send him a sign. I think he did, she's in the form of a beautiful five foot five inch fierce warrior that crossed the BIG pond in search of answers.
What starts with a kiss turns into so much more. More than sex. More than a touch. More than this story can ever tell you. You so need to read Dead of Eve and Blood of Eve to fully understand what this woman becomes to Rourk. What her life's meaning is and how Rourk helps her pursue it.
Impeccable writing as always Pam. I love your stories, your characters, and your fucked up mind! Thank you for this! It was nice to see Rourk's POV regarding the matter. You rock and I can't wait to read Dawn of Eve! Muah

Ok, so if I'm being honest here... this is my first Nina Levine story. I've never read her before, but hell and damnation... she's on my radar now! This is an opener to a much bigger story that I'm sure will come out soon. It's about a girl (Callie) who's going though a dry spell and hasn't gotten any in over 3 months. Callie trolls dating sights looking for a way to end her sexless situation and possibly find a future mate, who knows, stranger things have happened right?
Callie's bestie, Avery bartends at Elixir and that's pretty much where she ends up after every failed attempt at a piece of ass. The owner of Elixir is Luke and he's one hard nut to crack. He's been the object of Callie's attention for the last year, but he doesn't seem to notice. He's hardened by something from his past and he's pretty much a closed book and not too many people know the "real" Luke. After one of Callie's attempts at dating from the web turns ugly and somewhat threatening, Luke steps in to save the day.
What happens when the one you've been eye fucking finally notices you? What happens when you give into the temptation? Where will you turn when this one breaks your heart? I'm looking forward to the complicated web of attraction between these two beautiful characters.
