Hi Guys,

FOR THE CM9 NIGHTLY VERSION OF THIS MOD, GO TO SECOND POST.

I have made this MOD for our Galaxy Ace. This mod enables the ics navigation keys (BACK, HOME, Taskswitcher) on our galaxy ACE. it Works really well and i have attached screenshots below too.
SOFTKEYS OF DIFFERENT TYPES HAVE BEEN ADDED. YOU CAN SEE THE SCREENSHOTS ATTACHED TOO.

How to Apply This MOD?

Download Zip from attachments and place in sdcard
Reboot to recovery[CWM]
Flash the downloaded zip from recovery
reboot
ENJOY

To Get ICS nav softkeys on CM9 Nightly, apply the MOD attached in this post. There are 3 styles available- Nexus , HTC One X, WP7 Style. Download any of them to get the desired keys. for screenshots , refer to first post.

Themes are also working properly... No glitches at all.

Use keyboard backlight app to turn off soft keys. I turned off using script. But it seems to be lighted.u can also use pyronias back light script.

extract it. rename apktool.jar.1.4.3 to apktool.jar

EDIT:- I used the apktool.jar.1.4.3 to compile .and 1.4.2 to decompile. Forgot to upload

it is not possible. only possible in 4.0. not in 2.3.4.
But if u PM me the framework-res.apk and systemui.apk of Galaxy mini ICS from I can make it. just pm me

I see many people have downloaded. Check agian!
Its good dude, keep going.
Only thing is that not many people are using CM9,so maybe later once we get stable version people will use it then.
And another our screen is too small :-/

I agree that our screen is small. But it looks really nice. And everything really works great.

And yeah, I too believe ,after u said it , that after cm9 becomes popular , people will start using it .

Phone Keeps Rebooting

The phone keeps reboting after installing this mod, the rom is ics 4.0.3 CM9. What i must do? This mod is ****ing awesome! I just tried to wipe data/factory reset after restarting and nothing , i took the battery out and tried again and nothing???

How did u install? Don't mount system before installing. Flash directly from CWM recovery(don't wipe data and cache)
