Ready, set, go!  Wait a minute, go where and how? With such a varied audience, I’ll venture to say that many of you know the best practices and may even have some or lots of them implemented at your site. As a minimum, you have the basic concepts down. Not that improvements can’t be made, of course. That’s not what’s holding you back, it’s the Beast.   The Beast is your internal self and others that put obstacles in the path. It’s the unknown when it comes to how to start and where to go once you start on the journey.  That’s what most struggle with when it comes to transforming the culture to a proactive reliability centered one.

Join Jeff Shiver CMRP, CPMM, CRL for a one hour webinar where we share our knowledge and experiences doing just that, helping others transform their culture by fighting the Beast.  Recognize that ultimately, it’s really about reliability leadership and defect elimination throughout the organization.  Find the P on the PF Curve, push the P out from a continuous improvement perspective, and continuing on, and eliminate the defect entirely. As the same time, it requires engaging people up and down to the lowest levels.  Getting there requires many elements and in some cases, is more art than science.  I hope you recognize for most, it starts with education.  To that end, I want to share a framework we use from our 4 part series entitled Maintenance and Reliability for Managers.  The intent of the framework is to help you understand the elements and integrating them on the journey.

 Learning takeaways

  1. Where to start, and who do I get internally to help transform my culture?
  2. Get a holistic view of reliability and defect elimination.
  3. Learn about the framework of elements needed for success.
