Myrna and Sheldon Palley purchased their first glass artwork in Winter Park, Florida in the mid-70s. One “find” led to another, and forty years later, they continue to collect and to share their passion. The collection outgrew their home and is now largely housed in the custom-designed pavilion they donated to the University of Miami’s Lowe Art Museum. In celebration of its 10th anniversary, they engaged Linda Boone a glass curator and co-founder of Habatat Galleries, to re-organize and install the collection, incorporating works from other collectors. In early March, 2018, Boone joined the Palleys to provide a tour.
