Celebrate Hope on MLK Day; Pack 36,000 Meals - Beth Am

821 million people in the world suffer from hunger and malnutrition. The United Nations has set a goal of Zero Hunger by 2030 and we need your help!

We invite 200 volunteers to join our multicultural & multifaith effort to pack 36,000 meals in a fun and fast paced two hours, followed by inspirational MLK speakers and a community mediterranean lunch.

Who: Ages 2 and up; people of all faiths and cultures; includes 75 seated positions and 125 standing (2 hrs)
What: MLK Day multi-cultural, multi-faith Rise Against Hunger meal packing event, speakers & lunch
Where: Congregation Beth Am, Los Altos Hills, Social Hall
When: 9am-9:30am arrival; Intro/Demo starts promptly at 9:30am. Meal packing through ~11:40am followed by speakers and community lunch
