Dim Mak Artists Go Crazy at TomorrowWorld EDM Festival
On September 27th, the electronic music festival TomorrowWorld brought its transcendent chaos to Chattahoochee Hills in Atlanta, Georgia. Now fans can experience the sensory overload with the new Dim Mak “Up All Night” video from TomorrowWorld, which condenses the hectic event into one seven-minute blast.
Steve Aoki: A Night in the Life
The video features performance footage from several Dim Mak Records acts (Steve Aoki, Borgore, Carnage, Deorro) blended with frenetic crowd shots (fireworks, glowsticks, concertgoers in strange costumes). There are also some intimate backstage moments, like Aoki playing Autoerotique in a $1,000 game of rock, paper, scissors.
“TomorrowWorld was a blur!” Autoerotique tells Rolling Stone. “Steve Aoki and I only play rock, paper, scissors before special occasions. It’s our ritual before a huge night. TomorrowWorld was one of those nights. I haven’t seen a crowd like that since I was in Belgium for Tomorrowland. Wow! It makes me so happy to see we are bringing these kinds of experiences to America.”
Dim Mak Records hosted their Up All Night Stage at TomorrowWorld, which featured performances from founder Aoki and other artists on the label’s roster. This year has been an important one for the label, who have expanded internationally with Dim Mak-branded stages at Tomorrowland in Belgium and Beatpatrol in Austria.
