  • AFINN: A new word list for sentiment analysis on Twitter

    fnielsen.posterous.com/afinn-a-new-word-list-for-sentiment-analysis

Added by clmensch 1 year ago

    • clmensch:

If you want to perform sentiment analysis on textual data (i.e. tweets, published content, etc.) you can try this list of words which have been scored accordingly. It's a more modern version of the ANEW list, which is not so easy to obtain. AFINN contains common acronyms for digital communications like "LOL" and "ROTFL", so it has the potential to be more accurate for contemporary content.
