The Creative Commons community in India is shaping into a chapter. It will consist of volunteer individuals and organizations, and will be a CC representative in India. We invite you to join either of the two physical meetings (one in Delhi and one in Bangalore) or virtually on September 1 and participate in the very first formal meeting of the chapter.
Chapters serve as the central coordinators of the work of the individuals and institutions participating within a country in support of the Creative Commons Global Network. A Chapter is constituted by all Network Members, Institutional Members and other contributing people and organizations working in a particular country.
The chapter meeting will work on a bunch of issues listed here (
https://goo.gl/SxLYpQ), most importantly the selection of a "Representative" and a "Chapter Lead". The selection will be done using an online form on the day of meeting (Sep. 1). Those who are already individual network members. You can apply to become one here:

However, anyone who is interested to contribute to the CC movement can participate in the physical/virtual meeting. This form is for the organizers of the meeting to know who is going to be there in the meeting. Depending on your plan to be in the physical/virtual meeting, we will share with you details of the participation mode.
