Key responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge of energy efficiency and conservation, and renewable energy programs and technologies, as well as experience with community-wide programs to help businesses and residents evaluate options for implementing energy efficiency and renewable energy measures. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to effectively manage programs (from planning to implementation and evaluation), particularly programs oriented to promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy to commercial or business audience. A core component of this position will be facilitating outreach and effective stakeholder engagement, working with diverse interests, as well as translating technical and quantitative aspects of energy programs to the broader community. This position will need to work well in a collaborative environment within a large organization with multiple priorities, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The work requires the individual to perform work and attend meetings at locations outside of the office.

Experience: Considerable 3 years of professional experience supporting programs that promote energy, environmental, or sustainability issues.
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education or experience may be substituted.

All applicants will be reviewed by OHR to determine whether or not they meet minimum qualifications for the position. All applicants who meet minimum qualifications will be reviewed and rated by subject matter experts based on the Preferred Criteria. Based on the results of Preferred Criteria evaluation, applicants will be rated and placed on the Eligible List as either "Qualified" or "Well Qualified." The highest rated applicants will be placed on the Eligible List and may be considered for interview. Employees meeting minimum qualifications who are same grade or higher will be placed on Eligible List as a "Transfer" candidate and may be considered for interview. Note: In the event there are 10 or fewer minimally qualified candidates, all will be placed on the Eligible List as Qualified and Hiring Managers will be required to interview a minimum of five candidates.
