    Like many people, I began to use Instagram for fun and really didn't think of it as social media tool or a way to truly connect with people.I also wasn't very consistent in what I posted. As a mom, I loved to take photos of my kids out and about, but for people who follow me publicly for my hotel and travel photos, they don't want to see my kids all the time in their Instagram feed. After reading Katja's book, I learned how to best approach Instagram as a tool for my blog using the tips she shares. I now do a better job at using hashtags on my photos so that travelers can use them for travel purposes. I thought her book was eye-opening, and really educational. I had no idea that you could do so much with Instagram. Well done, Katja!

    As an avid Instagram user, I thought viewing and sharing photos was the main purpose of the site. After reading "Instragram as your Guide to the World", I've found a new way to use Instagram. The easy-to-read advice brings a the new dimension of Instagram as a travel guide. Specific information is provided on how to peruse the site for suggestions on new places to travel and to find and follow users who offer travel advice is extremely helpful. But, the photos are worth every penny and every bit of time spent reading Instagram as your Guide to the World. Helpful, fun and enticing, you'll be a lot more educated about this social media platform and how fabulous it can be.

    Recommended for travelers, bloggers, travel writers and dreamers who want to see the world.

    This book is a fabulous resource for those who like to travel and want a personal travel guide -- the way Katja uses Instagram to guide her travel is truly ingenious. She explains how her Instagram community helped her plan a trip to Rome. She shares how she discovers restaurants, smaller neighborhoods and landmarks for her travels through the travel community on instagram and how you can too. Anyone can become a travel expert by using her tips. This book is truly one of a kind, and I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys traveling, near or far.

    I am new to Instagram and found this guide extremely helpful - for I didn't even know it was possible to search for certain hashtags etc. I think the guide would be useful also for someone who is more experienced as a user, but wants to get more out of Instragram than just pretty photos: such as to meet people with local knowledge and get their travel tips and. I love the way the writer has used concrete examples and included great accounts to follow. Definitely recommended!

    Katja answers questions about Instagram and travel and reveals useful tips you probably didn't know existed.
