Katha Magazine’s Auction For A Cause
AUCTION PROCEDURE AND GUIDELINES • The auction will run for six (6) days, starting from November 18, 2013, Monday, 8:00 am until November 24, 2013, Sunday, 8:00 pm. • Winning bidders will be announced and contacted on November 25, 2013, Monday, 12:00 noon. • The auction is open to both Philippine and international bidders. Shipping costs will be shouldered by the winning bidder unless donor says othewise. • The auction format will be a secret bidding, using a Google form for each item. A person may bid on an item once per day in the week’s span and may bid on as many items as he wishes in the duration of the auction. Bids may be raised in increments of Php50 minimum. • The highest bid per item per day will be posted every night at 8:00 pm on the Katha website and Facebook page until Saturday, November 23, 2013, to encourage bidders to place higher bids. • Winning bidders will be given three (3) days to confirm their bid and deposit their bid to the provided bank accounts or methods of payment. Failure to do so will deem their bid null and void and the item will be awarded to the next highest bidder. Items can be claimed via an arranged meetup or thru courier services. • In the event of a tie in highest bid, the bidder with the earlier bid based from the Google form timestamp will be declared as winning bidder.
