August 16th we'll meet at Zenworks in Kaka'ako.
9 - 11:30 Gregg Kamei will take you on a photowalk around Zenworks in Kaka'ako. Lots of colorful murals, urban scenes and hopefully bright sun conditions. Then we'll return and try some indoor shots! We finish with some photo editing iapps for having fun with your photos! Bring your iphone, ipad or point and shoot! You might want to bring a hat and walking shoes.
12 - 2:30 Ross Rasmussen takes you Back to you Mac Basics
We've been having fun with iOS and taking photos, and this month we want to return to our iMacs and Macbooks. We'll begin with a Basics session. Below are a few of the things you probably are comfortable with, but may wish to review or expand on. If you have these under your belt, you've already found working on your Mac is easier and more fun. If not, join us on Saturday.
Bring your laptop or if you wish, your iMac. We'll have a couple of extra laptops you can share and will review a few basics to using a Trackpad before we start. It takes a little getting used to, but trackpads are a coming thing, even for iMacs they say. We'll see, but meanwhile, come join us!
Please answer the survey below. We'll get to as many of the unfamiliar ones as we can. They're all very useful. If you find you have all the skills, you may want to come just to assist others. If you participate we'll have a cheatsheet for you to take home. But each skill takes a little time to make so we appreciate knowing what you want and need to know most.
