The Blonde Vegetarian & iOS PhotoApps  June 28 11:30
This Saturday is our June MacLearn at Zenworks in Kaka'ako. It's a most unusual presentation because you'll get to hear and learn, and then eat what you learned! Hmmmm....read on!

From 11:30 - 12:30  Rebecca Woodland, The Blonde Vegetarian, offers you a double-header!  First you'll learn how she authored her new book,  Anti-Cancer Alchemy in a pure Apple fashion - iPhone photos and Pages on her iPhone.  Find out why she didn't use her MacBook Pro,  iBooks Author,  Keynote and Photoshop.  Rebecca was to be one of our featured speakers at Springfest but got laryngitis.  She's in full voice now with lots of tips and great energy.

Then she'll do a live demonstration of one of her anti-cancer recipes, a delicious salad with homemade dressing.  By the way, two of her recipe absolutes are it's gotta be simple and delicious.  You'd enjoy a generous serving if you signup for the workshop now so she knows how much to buy.  Bring something more for lunch to enjoy with it if you wish.  You can purchase an e-copy of the book if you wish.

Then from 12:30 to 2:30 we'll play photographer with Jerome Koehler and gain inspiration from a couple of videoclips of former National Geographic photographer Dewitt Jones.  He says your iPhone or other smart phone is an amazing camera. But you're the photographer that makes it work. Learn about apps you install before you shoot such as ProHDR and Camera +.  Learn about apps that you use after you shoot, right in your iPhone or iPad, or on your Mac.  Don't have an iOS device?  Bring your point and shoot camera.

We'll take a short walk to grab a few photos to play with, and we'll top it off with a new free app from Adobe, Adobe Voice!  This is just a teaser and will prime you for another photoshoot in July.  You can't really do it til you do it.  So

In July we'll do a full on photoshoot with photo editing.  So here's the starter! This is going to be fun!
