Rock the boat, baby! Kate Moss and Jamie Hince's honeymoon yacht hit by Corsica earthquake

The earth moved in more than one way for Kate Moss and her new husband Jamie Hince after their honeymoon was rocked by an earthquake.

Reports today said the quake struck the island of Corsica where the supermodel and her rock star beau are staying.

The pair were on their £10million superyacht which is moored off the island when the tremor measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck, according to the Sun newspaper.

But according to locals, the couple didn't seem to notice the quake, with one telling the paper: 'People on the shore were alarmed but Kate and Jamie's boat has been rocking all week so they may not even have noticed.

'They are clearly having the time of their lives and look totally in love.'

Kate, 37, and Jamie, 42, are luxuriating on Philip Green’s £10million yacht off the Mediterranean island.

With chefs and masseuses at their beck and call, the newlyweds are enjoying every moment of their £250,000 two-week Mediterranean cruise, courtesy of her friend Philip Green, the Topshop boss.

Kate, who married in a £1million celebration in Gloucestershire last Friday, can be demanding.

She asked military chiefs to divert or postpone flights at nearby RAF Brize Norton during the wedding for fear of the noise disturbing the  festivities.

The RAF, which initially refused, later agreed to her request. It was said that increased air traffic in the area, from helicopters hired by guests for example, meant it would be safer to divert some military flights.

The happy couple enjoyed three days of celebrations for their wedding before they flew off for their honeymoon.

The three-day event, dubbed 'Moss-stock' by locals included performances by Gossip lead singler Beth Ditto, Snoop Dogg, Shirley Bassey, Iggy Pop and Bryan Ferry.

Guests were treated to a continuous flow of alcohol, including a Cristal champagne fountain.

There was also a traditional six-tiered wedding cake for dessert which guests including Sadie Frost, Jade Jagger, Jude Law and Meg Mathews tucked into.

The wedding party also enjoyed a pub lunch at the Swan pub in Southrop on the Saturday.

Kate's eight-year-old daughter Lila Grace, one of the bridesmaids at the ceremony, is being looked after by her father, Kate's ex Jefferson Hack while they lap up their stay in Corsica - their first holiday as a married couple.
