Two expelled from top private school over sex in sand quarry

A £28,000-a-year private school has expelled two pupils for allegedly having sex in its 120-acre grounds during a drink-fuelled end of term encounter.

The girl and boy, aged between 14 and 15, were accused of “sexual misconduct” in a sand quarry on Bedales’ school estate in Hampshire and were asked to leave permanently.

A second boy the same age was expelled for stealing whisky from a local supermarket which was said to have been used during the incident.

Parents were alerted via an anonymous e-mail, claiming to have been sent from a teacher, which accused the school of a “total lack of care”.
