Oriza Martins (1948) was born in Planalto, State of São Paulo, Brazil. During her childhood and adolescence, she also lived in other cities in the same state: Mirassol, Barbosa, Penápolis and São Paulo, where she graduated in Education and Literature at the University of São Paulo (USP). Oriza Martins has a son, Leandro, and she is married to the writer and poet N. Rogero. Oriza Martins is a retired professor from São Paulo City Department of Education, and she has a literature web portal where she writes poems, short stories, messages, e-cards.
