Revenue is projected to eclipse the year-earlier total of $692.9 million by 11%, finishing at $771 million for the quarter. For the year, revenue is projected to roll in at $3.12 billion.
In the past two quarters, the company's revenue has increased. In the second quarter, revenue increased 9% to $758.5 million from the year earlier quarter. In the first quarter, the figure rose 14%.
The majority of analysts (71%) rate Urban Outfitters as a buy. This compares favorably to the analyst ratings of nine similar companies, which average 32% buys.
