Marketing Plan | 3 KEYS For Internet Beginners

What's Up Guys,

Tom Matthew here for followphilandtom.com and today I've got three keys for internet business beginners when creating a marketing plan.

Marketing plan key number one is to focus on promoting one thing. This simplifies things and there is nothing worse then getting confused by different aspects of ten different business. This happens to a lot of people, it happened to us and it cost a lot of time and a lot of money. Focus on promoting one thing.

Now if you;re just starting out and you don't have anything to promote yet like a business model or product then there is three things that you have to think about when choosing something to promote.
  • You have to have an array of products already built for you that you can sell straight away.
  • It has to have a high ticket backend offer so you're not just making small little sales on the front end but you're making big commissions on the backend.
  • You have to have a follow up system of email and phone.

Now if you don't have something to promote yet me and Phil do, it follows that criteria that I just mentioned, hit the link in the description below and we can help you out there.

Marketing plan key number two is to focus on one marketing slash traffic method. Marketing and traffic are the same thing, it's just getting people to what you're offering. Now, there's multiple things that you can do online. You can do pay per click advertising, you can do banner advertising, you can do solo ad advertising, you can do Facebook advertising, you can do blogging, article marketing, you can do video marketing.

When you're just starting out you need to choose one of these methods, just one, and focus on that and get good at that.

Now everyone of the traffic methods that I just mentioned is a new skill and it's going to take some time to learn, so if you try to learn all of them at once, you're going to go nowhere fast. Try mastering and getting good at one of these things and when you start to get consistent results ie. sales, consistent sales, then you can move onto something new. But start with one thing first

Marketing plan key number three is to be consistent with your marketing. If you're doing pay per click advertising and you put up thirty ads in two days and you don't do anything for the next month, well, you're not going to go anywhere. You have to be checking those ads every single day, you have to be putting up new ads to see what works, you have to be split testing those ads, you have to be on it every single day checking, testing and revising.

Same thing if you're blogging. If you're blogging and you put up ten blog posts in two days and you don't do anything for the next month, again you're not going to go anywhere. But what you have to do is pick one or two days out of the week when you're going to post that blog post and then hit those days every single week consistently. And that's how you build momentum and that's how you start to get results.

So there's three keys for internet business beginners when creating a marketing plan.
