The world’s largest vaccine maker will mass produce an unproven COVID-19 vaccine candidate

The Serum Institute, run by Indian billionaire Adar Poonawalla, plans to make hundreds of millions of doses of an unproven Oxford-designed vaccine. “It’s a gamble with a huge upside. And huge risks,” according to the New York Times.
