How to Get in the Virtual Line
All the rides at Volcano Bay feature a Virtual Line. It changes how you wait–leaving you free to float, swim, splash, eat, shop or just relax until it's your time to ride. Here's how it works:
- Tap in at an attraction with your TapuTapu wearable and you're in the Virtual Line.
- You're free to explore the park while your TapuTapu counts down the minutes to your return time.
- When your TapuTapu vibrates, it's time to return to your attraction with just a short wait before you ride.
Volcano Bay is a Water Park Like No Other

All destination-wide methods of payment are available at Universal Volcano Bay including Universal Pay, cash and credit card.
During the fall and winter season, Volcano Bay is closed on select dates. Guests should check park hours or the Universal Orlando App for park hours and updates.
With a Little Planning, You Can Have the Ultimate Volcano Bay Day.
When you arrive, head to the far side of the volcano–you'll find plenty of rides and seating in the back of the park. Better yet, hit the beach 30 minutes before the park opens when you stay at a Universal Orlando hotel. For the ultimate stress–free retreat, reserve a private cabana or a shaded lounger–you can even have food delivered to you.
