Hello! My name is Gloria Mayorga-Garcia. This is my first year teaching at Southeast DREAMS Magnet Middle School. I am teaching a computer science elective as well as 8th grade math.

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, but moved to Los Angeles over 6 years ago. My parents are from México, but they immigrated to the United States over 25 years ago. I have 7 younger siblings, with the youngest one being in first grade!

I graduated from Occidental College (located in Eagle Rock) in 2017 with my Bachelor's in Mathematics. I am currently attending UCLA to obtain my Masters in Education.
