1. Assuming one's coming by tube
a) turn left exit from Harrow on the Hill (right goes to the bus station, from which you can walk through tube station to join Lowlands Road)
b) turn right (Lowlands Road)
c) cross over road and walk past petrol station (M&S)
d) walk about 100 yards and you'll find on the left the gated opening to the business village with a the sign of Harrow Menap in fron tof you
We'll be on the 1st floor - press MIDDLE BUZZERPan-African Society at QMUL (Queen Mary University of London) in association with BBM/BMC (BritishBlackMusic.com/Black Music Congress) present a panel-led debate on the contribution of black music to the British music industry and what the payback is for people of African heritage, whose creative capital, drives a significant proportion of popular music.

The event, which serves as the formal launch of RE:IMI (Race Equality: In Music Industry) and marks the 50th anniversary of the enactment of the 1965 Race Relations Act, the 70th anniversary of the 5th Pan-African Congress at Manchester, and the start of UN's International Decade of People Of African Descent, seeks to highlight 'race' within Diversity discourse and music industry practice.

Panel includes performer & trade unionist Zita Holbourne, musician & music industry practitioner Hugh Francis, former record producer and community educator Toyin Agbetu, Pan-African Society at QMUL president Dauda Barry, and BBM/BMC founder Kwaku, plus maverick record producer & owner of Ariwa recor label Neil 'Mad Professor' Fraser via video.
