Description

Join us, Saturday, April 23rd 2016 at the inaugural WISC Graduate Research Symposium as we highlight and celebrate emerging research conducted by Columbia University's women graduate students in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. The format of the symposium is designed to encourage discussion across an array of STEM disciplines by sharing the details of current research and placing them in a broader context, making connections and engaging in research networking.

The symposium will feature Dr. Chloe Bulinksi, professor in CU's Department of Biology as our keynote speaker. In addition, a Lab Dynamics workshop will be presented by the Joan Waters, J.D. from the Ombuds Office of Columbia University and networing opportunities with GSAS Alumni during our evening reception. A selection of superb oral paper and scientific poster presentations will also be awarded and announced!
