I was born and raised in Escanaba, MI, the middle(ish) child of two teachers, with an older sister, and younger twin brother and sister.  I graduated Escanaba High School in 2012 and attended the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), until I graduated in 2016 with a B.A. in History.  In 2018, I received a Secondary Education Social Studies certification from Northern Michigan University.   I now teach social studies at Munising Middle and High School

On May 27, 2017, I married Brianna, the love of my life, and in May of 2019, we added to our family with the birth of our daughter, Mary Rose Lynch.  I love Jesus, my family, coffee, Diet Coke, paisley ties, the color pink, Michigan football, and Star Wars.  I have never lost a game of Star Wars Trivial Pursuit, and I dare you to try to best me.

Teachers are on the front lines of society, shaping the future by educating students to change their world.  Teachers are called, not just to educate, but to nurture students and help them grow into enlightened, caring, thoughtful, and kind individuals.  Keep fighting the good fight!
