I am raising funds to help SoulFree complete a wheelchair donation drive.  We need 13 wheelchairs which cost around 11,000 (~200$) each to improve the lives of 13 amazing people. Please help us in our mission by making a small donation to our cause.

SoulFree is a charitable organization that was born out of a dream to provide hope for the severely disabled. After personally experiencing and also hearing the stories of many paraplegics and quadriplegics – especially women – Preethi was moved to start Soulfree. Growing up as a national level swimmer and a state level cricket player, Preethi Srinivasan had a freak accident in Pondicherry, India. She completely lost her identity in the span of a split second from being a bright young student and sportsperson to a person confined to a wheelchair for over 18 years now.

I was moved by Preethi's story a few years ago and have been donating to Soulfree for a while. They needed more funds for the wheelchair donation drive and I decided to use Milaap to support them. As a part of a fundraising event, I will also be swimming at Swim Miami on April 17th (swimmiami.net).
