As we enter summer (and not to mention being halfway through 2023), the Bitly team has been hard at work to make the Connections Platform even stronger.
Link redirects are now a single process for easier management and tracking. Our QR Codes got a makeover with even more customization options, allowing you to really take them to the next level. Bitly Link-in-bios now have thumbnails to add to your links for improved visibility—and an easier way to “delete” your Link-in-bio site to start fresh with new content.
What was two, now is one: link redirects
Bitly link redirects and branded link redirects have joined together as link redirects. This improvement makes it easier to manage and track your redirects.
Have you ever printed a sign and the website destination changed at the last minute, or do you need your QR Code to direct to a menu that changes weekly? Meet redirects—where you can keep the same short link or QR Code but change the URL destination. No reprinting, and no need to recreate QR Codes every week.

QR Code customization is here
Cut through the visual clutter with more QR Code customization options. Now you can customize the style and color of nearly every part of your Bitly QR Code, from the pattern to the corner styles. You also can add a frame around the QR Code that both draws attention and prompts a call to action. Customization levels vary based on the plan you have.
