FAQ

What is the DEI Spotlight on Inclusion Program?

With a mission focused on equity and inclusion, fighting for justice, and/or serving systemically oppressed populations (based on race, ethnicity, gender, LGBTQIA+, etc), nonprofits need a way to connect with their constituents. The Bitly Connections Platform has all the features they need when supporting their mission in a variety of ways via digital campaigns, social media marketing, events and SMS notifications.

Limited resources typically prevent such organizations from upgrading to a more robust plan. The Bitly Spotlight on Inclusion Program provides nonprofits with a free premium-level plan loaded with all the important features needed to accomplish their goals: redirects, custom back-half links, QR Codes, and detailed reporting.

Bitly is a catalyst for all your connections at every stage of your mission.

Who is eligible?

International NGOs and non-profit organizations with a mission around working towards equity and inclusion, fighting for justice, or serving systemically oppressed populations (please note: the decision for whether or not the organization’s mission matches these values is solely up to Bitly).

You must provide your organization’s name, account contact information, location, Tax ID or registration number (we must be able to verify your organization), and a link to your organization’s website that details the mission so that we can verify your organization meets these requirements.

How will I know if my application was approved?

As we are currently at capacity, there is a waitlist for future partners. If you wish to be considered in the near future, we recommend joining the waiting list by completing the form.

If a spot opens up, we will review your application. After review, we will send you an email letting you know if you were approved and upgraded or if your organization does not qualify for the program. The decision for whether or not the company’s mission matches the Spotlight on Inclusion Plan’s values is at the discretion of Bitly.

How long is this offer valid for?

We are limiting this offer to 250 accounts on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Accounts will be re-evaluated annually to verify if the qualifications are still met and downgraded to free plan if the organization no longer qualifies.

Can my organization have multiple accounts in the Spotlight on Inclusion Plan?

No, but distinct chapters of the same organization may each have an account. For example, if you have a chapter in San Francisco and New York, both San Francisco and New York can have their own account on the Spotlight on Inclusion plan.

What if my organization may be eligible but we are already a paying Bitly customer?

Your current paid plan may have different features and link volumes than the capabilities offered by the Spotlight on Inclusion Plan, but please fill out the form and we will reach out to discuss your plan options.
